Yeah, if Matt Frattin can't find his way back to the NHL(I know injuries played a large part in this), I don't see Kristo....Matt can play 3rd and 4th line minutes if needed

between 8 and 10 I believe

If we are going to catch lightning in a bottle(assuming we make the field) and make a run again we would almost be better of going in as #13 which keeps UMD and DU out of our region as I honestly think someone else would have to do the heavy lifting for us to make a run this year. I think if we play our best game we are close enough to at least a 50/50 tossup against everyone else who would be in the field but against DU and UMD I think we are a 2 in 10 or 3 in 10 proposition this year.....and I know Michigan was probably a 1 in 15 against us but there wasn't the familiarity with each other in that game.

He is usually spot on the final brackets. I think he might like to stir it up a little bit leading up to it.
-
The #1 overall seed getting the 5 instead of the 8, 7 or 6. So much for bracket integrity and the #4 gets the 8 instead of the 5, 6, or 7.

Borgan is an elite player. Big loss for SCSU.

My point is I am more and more starting to feel our fans drift into Gopher fan territory with arrogance and lack of respect for other programs. To be fair, I don't know if runaroundsioux thought it would be funny because an eastern team and #1 seed at that would have to travel west to play or if he doesn't think much of the Harvard hockey program?
-
Would it be as funny as when we played Yale? I am still laughing about that one....I think the Gophers are as well.

Winning this weekend puts us in a good position but still allowing for things to go wrong. Winning a game in Minneapolis should lock us in.
-
He has to make the team as a top 6 forward and this limits his opportunities.
-
I probably bring this up every year but how stupid is it for them to lock teams into seeds 1(1-4) 2(5-8) 3(9-12) 4(13-16) and then they will only move teams on their seed lines so if necessary they will flop the #5 team with the #8 team but would never even consider flipping the #12 and #13 . To me there isn't any difference in flipping the 6 with the 8 from flipping the 8 with the 10.

Based on current pairwise. True seed. 1.Denver vs. WCHA champs 8.Union vs. 9.Penn St. 2.UMD vs. ACA champs 7.BU vs.10. Providence 3.Harvard vs.14. Notre Dame 6.Lowell vs. 11.Cornell 4.WMU vs. 13.Wisconsin 5.Minnesota vs.12. UND BU can't play Providence in first round an you can't trade Providence for Cornell because Lowell is also in Hockey East. UND is a 3 seed that can't be moved so how do you shuffle the other 3? Lowell is highest of the 2 seeds affected so I think you leave them with the #11 overall and you swap Penn St. and Providence. With the western teams likely to occupy 4 of the top 5 spots there isn't a way to avoid sending someone east, and the Denver fan base won't change much if the tournament was in Cincy, out East or even in Colorado Springs. Of course there are more games next weekend and all the dice will be thrown again.
-
I believe that UMD will be in Fargo unless UND is in as a 4 seed.

I believe a plane ride is a plane ride in the eyes of the committee. And the sad thing is where Denver goes will have no effect on attendance.

Can verify that he is a quality kid. He does deliveries for our the company I work for in the summer.

UND (13-3, 18-8) vs Sac State (8-8, 11-16) 3/2 7 PM

Or Portland St. on Saturday and again on Thursday. -
Nah. Minneapolis will be fun on St. patty's day but won't even compare to the chaos in St. Paul.

UND (13-3, 18-8) vs Sac State (8-8, 11-16) 3/2 7 PM

I am no huge Jones defender but this was a game of players play and coaches coach. Sac. State played deliberate and tried to take care of the ball and yet we still turned them over 17 times. Bottom line is we didn't knock down free throws and went 4-21 from 3 point range(18 of these were uncontested wide open looks). Seales would have been huge to have in this game as he is our best player at finding soft spot in the lane against the zone and hitting that midrange jumper. -
You never know how a players numbers will translate to the next level....looking at their last year in Juniors Boeser 68 points and 35 goals in 57 games in USHL Wilkie 55 points and 35 goals in 59 games in USHL Hoff 57 points and 20 goals in 56 games in USHL Cichy 76 points and 34 goals in 56 games in USHL

Secondary market was really cheap on Saturday...as the scalpers told us, the wrong team lost on Thursday
-
We kept our tickets and went to title game......since we had quite a bit of booze and beer left in our suite.
-
I have been to Cincy, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Denver, Boston, etc. and always bought tickets from other fans who decided not to attend an always paid face value.....except in St. Paul..... My advice to UND fans who have tickets to the regional and in the vent our favorite squad is making tee times and if you decide not to attend is to charge face value to any fan except those from a certain fanbase
