I think UND should easily win their first game, They should comfortably win their second game. Anything less is unacceptable. Weber will be a tough game but we are playing with house money at that point. I will be disappointed if we lose but if we at least show up for a big game but lose, I will look forward with excitement to next season.

If we don't finish in the top 4 during the regular season and/or the conference tournament it is time to go. .....I don't like that we finished 5th and had a chance for 4th and didn't get it done at Montana State but we were in the mix. Bottom line is if we are not at least playing in the semi-finals next weekend it is time for a coaching change. Assuming we don't sh!t the bed against S. Utah, we get Idaho State who we handled fairly easily at home and at their gym. No excuses not to get to the Weber State semi final matchup and let it hang loose.

I know a coach who used to be on staff at UND but also has been on staff at a couple of schools in major conferences and he said that while realizing we are not comparing apples to apples as far as talent goes, all other things equal there isn't a tougher conference to win on the road than the Big Sky....the travel is brutal

I wouldn't recommend anything other than acceptance and embracing and appreciating different cultures. If ND becomes more diverse than ND becomes more diverse and if ND doesn't become more diverse than ND doesn't become more diverse.

Well they did change their name from Indians to The Tribe but that was in the late 70's I believe. The NCAA told them to get rid of the feathers in their logo in 2006 in association with The Tribe name.

In fairness, he was giving some insight to my question. The Bismarck team has been dominant and I was wondering if they had enough girls in their youth programs to justify having additional school teams and it appears they do. I see the Bismarck A bantam team beat Fargo AA last week. I realize it would be tough for Bismarck to play a AA schedule as Grand Forks and Fargo just play mostly Minnesota teams but is seams that Bismarck could maybe have more than one A team? Fargo has 1 AA team, 1 A team, 2 B1 teams and 2 B teams while Bismarck has one A team, 1 B1 team and 1 B team. ....on a side note, I believe that the Fargo AA team are all Davies kids except 1. Going to watch GF and Fargo today at 3:45.

Interesting. I asked a friend who works at Parks and Rec in Bismarck about it and he said they don't have the numbers in the girls program to feed more teams? He said most of the girls in their 19u program are young so I took that to mean that they don't really have any sophomores, juniors, or seniors playing?

Do they have the numbers to support more? Are they cutting girls? I honestly don't know.....was just having this discussion with my brother.
