  1. I didn't think much of that play when I saw it from the camera angle behind the play....changed my mind when I saw the view from the side. Unnecessary in my opinion.
  2. These guys have middle names I am not aware off? BB, TJ, and SG
  3. TBS......Superstation Line....Boeser-Jost-Gersich Heavy 2.0....Pogo-Garner-Wilkie Line of Nations.....JJ-Hoff-Simo Section 8 Line....Olson-Bowen-Yon-Smith
  4. Women's rowing would take about 300-400 k to be in top tier and the 12 scholarships are apportioned and you could have 50-60+ women on the team for the participation tier. If Arizona State can ad rowing we sure can. They could use the pool when we cut swimming. From an article on title 9 Meanwhile, colleges across the country have raced willy-nilly to add women’s teams, sometimes with near-comic results. For example, Arizona State University — located in a desert — is adding varsity women’s crew, a fast-growing sport that owes its newfound popularity to the large teams (50 to 80) that it requires. Arizona State will flood a nearby 2 mile dry gulch for the team to row on; few if any team members are expected to have any rowing experience. (Crew is notoriously grueling, and few high schools offer the sport.) At the University of Iowa, the new women’s crew team luxuriates in a budget of $440,000, boasting 12 apportionable scholarships, new boats and three paid coaches. Meanwhile, men’s crew — a club sport — struggles to make do with a stipend of $1,500 and secondhand boats.
  5. Dane Jackson alluded to that being the case at The Booster meeting in Fargo. Indicated that LaDue situation was similar.
  6. And UND was without their All American running back
  7. I have attended every WCHA and now NCHC Final 5 since 2000 I believe. This year it is going to be a coin flip as to whether I attend or not. Most of the group I usually go with have all expressed a less than overwhelming desire to attend another hockey game at the Target Center.
  8. Really depends if we are looking at Football in the Big Sky and moving everything else? If that is the plan, then everything except Men's Hockey, Football, Men's Golf, Womens Basketball, Womens Golf, Womens Soccer, and Volleyball should be on the table. If we have title 9 issues we could always add Women's rowing which seems to be the scam some other schools pull. 20 schollies and huge participation numbers apparently. Iowa has nearly 100 on their roster, the Gophs have around 50. I am betting some of these girls are walking around campus and are not even aware they are on the team at Iowa unless they really need depth....Meet Susie, she is our 47th string bow seater and a valuable member of our 11th scout team in the 8's and she leads our 23rd scout team in the 4's. After that the sports that should remain or be brought back in order would be Womens Softball Baseball Wrestling Womens Track and Field/Cross Country Mens Track and Field/Cross Country Womens Tennis Mens Tennis Women's Hockey Womens Swimming and Diving Mens Swimming and Diving
  9. Nice play and pass by Toews to set up the winner but it definitely looked like too many men on the ice for Canada. Marchand came off the bench and jumped in the play "a little" early.
  10. Looking for 5 tickets for either night of the Bemidji State Series. Preferably Lower Bowl. Seats can be 5 together, 4 and 1, or 3 and 2.
  11. He did cost us 7 points with a retaliation penalty in the first half.
  12. To be fair. Sacred Heart had a defensive td and 2 td drives of 29 yards.
  13. Nah. Par for the course in the Big Sky
  14. Anyone who doesn't fully examine anything Shaun King writes or says is doing it wrong. He is a notorious liar and is known to make up anything to fit his agenda.
  15. I believe WiSioux said it in his first post. There is no place in society behavior such as this. The University campus is a place where everyone should feel welcome. What is this world coming to? You just need to unfortunately do what their parents should have done at some time in their lives and tell some of the SJW's, perpetually offended, and easily triggered to go piss up a rope. If someone is giving a lecture on campus that might "trigger" you, don't go. Pretty simple.
  16. Delta Gamma or Loomis Hall
  17. I remember when the Casino was built south of Mandan and there was a big uproar on TV, Radio, and in the Newspapers about how many Non Native people were hired to work at the Casino and that not enough Native Americans were hired, etc. This went on for a couple of weeks since the media loves to fan the flames on stories like this. Finally, after a couple of weeks of this, the CEO(or whatever his title was) from the Management Company hired to run the Casino gave a press conference and basically said that every single Native American who applied for a job at the Casino was hired or offered a job....this ended the uproar.
  18. Wasn't the direction I expected John W. to go. I disagree 100% on his view of the Coaching staffs. Now if he wanted to make the case that some of our fan base is starting to reach gopher fan level arrogance and condescension I would have to unfortunately concede a little bit to this. Can't remember which thread it was but I hinted at this 2-3 months ago as well.
  19. You make a pretty good argument. Allow me to retort

  21. They go hand in hand
  22. wow. what you have just said...... That's alright though. We need fans who don't understand anything about football as well!!
  23. Studsrud has to be better.....or at least competent. The fact that we haven't had him run a designed running play tells me a little about the confidence we have behind him at QB.
