My wife has been saying the same thing when we watch games and I see it too. Agree with a lot of what you're saying here.

I think that game was 2 years ago... but agree that was nuts. Caggiula ties it up with a few ticks on the clock then Parks to Chyzyk for a shorthanded goal with OT expiring to win it. That was one of the most improbable wins I've seen.

They don't need wins and help, just winning their final 4 games would put them in. Possibly, even with a 1st round exit. But a little help wouldn't hurt for some breathing room!

Can't remember a time recently where we've been a 1 seed and got upset by a 4 seed in the 1st round...someone correct me if I'm wrong. It's tough to do that when you go to Frozen Fours regularly I suppose They've won the NCHC league title once and a Frozen Faceoff I believe. Sure SCSU has "won something", but it's usually followed by an implosion in the NCAAs.

Couldn't agree more. A great d-man and the hardest worker on the team. Stecher took zero shifts off, which held everyone accountable. And when he made one of those plays where he went into a scrum with 4 guys, pulled the puck out and skated the length of the ice to set up a play it got the crowd pumped.

While these comments may be a little too optimistic for some, I appreciate the refreshing optimism. I'll be at The Ralph this Friday ready to cheer on the boys!! Not over til it's over, 2014 showed us that.

Thanks ubish, good series. You guys have a good team and I'll be pulling for you in any game you're not playing against UND in. If your guys take advantage of those opportunities like they did this weekend, you could definitely make noise in the tournament. Cheers!

I want to be hopeful about Wilkie but that turnover he made last night was inexcusable. I was yelling at him the whole time he was skating behind the net with the puck with guys all over him. Needed to get rid of so much sooner. And while I'm pissing and moaning, is anyone getting sick of 16's backhand passes? He's a special player but IMO he's gotten really careless with these and it's costing us offensive zone possession or leading to a costly turnover. end rant
