  1. Interesting read, especially the part about Jost talking to McKinnon and having reservations about the state of the Avs. https://milehighsticking.com/2017/03/30/colorado-avalanche-prospect-tyson-jost-set-prove-legit/
  2. If it makes you feel better, the 2016 national champions only had a Poweplay clicking at 19.1% which landed us 21st in the nation. Hardly a dangerous powerplay.
  3. Maybe build a new #hockeyonly apartment building attached to the Ralph so players have easier access to ice.
  4. That excites me, Pogo could be dominant next year. His point production wasn't quite where I wanted it last year but my god his skating and board play are unparalleled.
  5. Hockey could use some new skate dryers.
  6. What about 97-99?! Back-to-back-to-back national champions! If they won by less than 30 points it was disappointing. I remember as a young tyke thinking that they might be better than the men!
  7. Take from it what you will but Polanski on TTD talks about guys coming in and figuring out their roles and says "I think WE'LL have a very good year next year" I know it's not a guarantee but gave me a little hope that he wasn't looking at bolting right away.
  8. I feel confident in saying that Chris Wilkie will NOT be signing early
  9. You're either missing or intentionally twisting what I'm trying to say and the cost/benefit analysis of trying to walk ya through it isn't worth the effort. Have a good one.
  10. Equating the UND women's program to the Men's is silly and you know it is. That's why 12,000 show up on Friday nights and 200 showed up on Saturday afternoons. One has been around for about 80+ years, the other only lasted 15. We won 7 national championships before that incredible building was gifted to us and disappointingly only 1 since it opened... yet the fans still flock there every weekend. They'll probably shutter the Medical school to save money before cutting men's hockey... kidding ... or am I?
  11. I'll try not to hold my breath for that. It'd be great if you stopped making up thing that I didn't post, thanks
  12. I couldn't help myself
  13. Nationally? Yes In Grand Forks? Nope, hockey is THE sport
  14. Nope, you'll probably still need pills for that
  15. 10-4 rubber ducky
  16. I think that's his point. Schmaltz didn't leave after his freshman year.
  17. To be fair, a tape delayed national title game for the 2016 Women's Frozen Four drew 651,000 so almost half of that 1.4 million number. http://www.startribune.com/frozen-four-title-game-ratings-dip-again-but-hit-good-numbers-on-espn2/375466641/ That number surprised me. On the flip side, viewer numbers do not translate directly to $$$.
  18. Yup, good points. Can JJ play center?
  19. Yeah I'd agree with that. I didn't realize but we actually have some strength up the left side next year!
  20. IMO Bowen and Yon will be top 6 forwards next year(at worst top 9) and yes of course Bowen plays over Simo
  21. I hate so much the term 'with Hak's recruits', these players were recruited by Berry too(probably spoke with him more than Hak) and chose to stay on board after Berry was announced as the head coach. They're as much Berry's recruits as Hak's.
  22. As much as people pile on Cam, it'll be nice to have a solid sr. netminder because our other option would be throwing Tomek into the deep end and praying he swims.
  23. If you wouldn't mind, please drop all the Duluth fans off in Des Moines and tell them it's Chicago
  24. Ah, that makes sense. If true that it came out of the league, then not UND's fault.
