Wild giving Dubnyk the start tonight in the big matchup at Winnipeg. Big blow for the Wild Jason Zucker is out about 3 months with a broken collarbone and he needs surgery on it. Ryan Carter will also miss around a month with a shoulder injury suffered last night.

Looks like there was a little misunderstanding on that. Justin Emerson @J15Emerson 12h12 hours ago Clarification on this: Mackie visited BC and UMD but was never offered. Still chose ASU two years before he signs, but needs to be out there

No, if they want special treatment they can look somewhere else for it.
-
Tomorrow night is a big one and should be good at Winnipeg. Probably will be without Zucker and Carter since both got hurt early tonight and didn't return.
-
Everything I've heard on him has been he is a solid player with a lot of potential. I believe OverTheBoards had him as one of the top '00 prospects and he looked that way against better competition at the state tournament last year which was good to see.
-
Saw on Twitter Hak is at the Luverne/Marshall game tonight I'm sure taking a close look at Jaxon Nelson.
-
I believe Evers mentioned that he would be coming in next year when the U.S. team played the exhibition game in GF but not sure if that is dependent on people leaving or he will come no matter what. I would anticipate another forward being added to the list to get to 15 and right now the only option would be Yon. It could end up being Boeser but if we don't land him I wouldn't be surprised if we add another forward for next year so Yon can play another year in the USHL.

6A has been weak but 1A and 3A have been just as bad if not worst at times. When they re-did sections the last time they moved St.Cloud Cathedral into 6A and that helps because they are usually a solid program and Alexandria has a decent team this year. Detroit Lakes has been in 6A some but would like to be in it consistently they always are mad they get placed in 8A because it is a much better section usually. DL actually has a pretty solid team and have a decent chance in 6A this year but instead will be about the 4 seed in 8A. We played Breck-Wahp in high school and they were pretty bad but I always wondered why they wouldn't play ND hockey because they always ended up as one of the bottom couple teams in 6A and I can't ever see them making a Minnesota State Tournament.

I believe the injury happened on a hit and someone who was there said it looked like maybe a shoulder injury but they weren't real sure. Not sure how long he will be out but he didn't play Friday night at Roseau in a 6-0 EGF win.

Disagree he is 5th on his team in points and 3rd in goals scored in his first year in the USHL on a team that isn't all that offensively focused. Also his stats are not all that matters there have been players with great USHL numbers never contribute at all in college and guys that didn't have great stats in the USHL be real good college hockey players. I'll trust the reports from people who have season tickets in Fargo that Yon has been pretty solid and one of their better players.
-
Agreed those jerseys are horrible some of the ugliest I've ever seen.
-
I'm not too worried about Yon from what I have heard he has been solid and I expect him to be more of a 3rd/4th line guy for us that can score his numbers are alright 37GP 10G 7A even. I'm more worried about Cakebread and not sure what has happened to him but the reports I've heard on him this year have been that he has struggled all year and his numbers are also pretty weak 32GP 3G 1A -10.

Thanks didn't know there was another younger one but the talk that the youngest might be the best makes a little more sense now.
-
At one time a lot of people said the youngest was the best of the Brodzinski's and I believe he is the youngest but he hasn't produced at the level Johnny did as a forward.
-
Johnny Manziel checked himself into a rehab facility a lot of teams gotta be real happy they didn't make the mistake of drafting him.
-
I really wondered what was said between Hak and Blais too because when I was watching live it looked like Blais said bull !@#$ when he turned back at the end. Probably nothing and could just be a bad case of trying to read lips by me but I would love to know what was actually said.

I noticed that especially early in the 1st period and a few of them were even just communication issues where it looked like they both thought the other was gonna take the puck. As the game went on I thought they looked more comfortable and better together I think they can stay together even with the way both like to jump into the play they just are gonna have to recognize when one should go and the other has to play safe then.

Really liked both games the Sioux played this weekend for the most part really creating a lot of great chances just not finishing on enough of them. Massa was great all weekend and the biggest reason we didn't get a sweep out of this weekend. Not one of Zane's better weekends but he has been great all year and bailed the team out at times so hard to put too much blame on him. Not sure if it was the change in defensive pairings or what but looked like there were some odd miscommunications between the defensemen that led to opportunities for UNO including their first goal where Schmaltz had jumped up in the play but it looked like Thompson didn't know as he was still playing just the one side of the ice. Really liked what a lot of guys brought tonight but one particular player who looked real good tonight was Nick Schmaltz and I hope to see him back playing with some finishers for the Denver series. Good time for a week off to reset and get healed up a little before Denver comes to town.

I'm the same way and hate both teams but I'd rather not have to listen to the loudmouths again so I guess it is Go Cheaters.
-
Didn't specifically mean you it just seems like there is always someone after a game and especially after a loss that posts Jordan looks slow or lazy and should sit when in reality it may look that way to some people because he has such an easy smooth stride. Jordan is a very important player for this team and might be the best puck moving defenseman on this team and needs to play every game as long as he is healthy.
-
5-1 Sioux with goals from Caggiula, MacMillan, Stecher, J. Schmaltz, and N. Schmaltz.
-
I agree with you I don't get the hate for Jordan some people seem to have. He had great jump last night moving the puck very well and it seemed like he really played a lot of minutes. Over the past couple weekends it seems he has been even more aggressive in the offensive zone and has created some chances through jumping into the play and pinching to keep the puck in. He is never gonna be the type of defenseman who is gonna be a physical defenseman who is gonna be in a lot of board battles. He is a highly skilled finesse type player that can provide offense and move the puck well. There is no way they will sit him and there is no reason he should be sitting.

Yeah they lost a number of guys but many programs have lost even more talent and not been as bad as they have this year. Going into last season Minnesota lost 5 players early to the pros and they still reloaded and ended up in the National Championship and we lost 6 Seniors plus Forbort early that year and still ended up in the Frozen Four. Going into the 2011-2012 season we lost 7 Seniors, 2 guys that would have been Juniors transferred plus Gregoire and Hextall went pro early but we still ended up 26-13-3 and won the Final 5. I have no sympathy for Eaves and Wisco a lot of teams have dealt with the same type of situation and not been as bad as they are.
