Reffing was pretty bad again so it was good to see our PK step up tonight and really do a nice job against a good St. Cloud powerplay. Big time blocks on the PK tonight really hope MacMillan is alright and will be able to return sometime this season but it didn't look good. If MacMillan is out for any period of time the guys that have been waiting for an opportunity to get back in the lineup will have the chance and need to make the most of it. Really solid game again tonight aside from about a 5-7 minute span in the 3rd where we got sloppy and turned it over too much and just looked a little indecisive.

Oklahoma City could end up a 7 or 8 seed because of injuries they have had and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they won the NBA Championship but most years I think you are right.

Michigan State powerplay surprised both players didn't get called on that one.
-
Haha after Minnesota tried it then the Spartan player tried right after good to see the ref not fall for either one.

Reffing was horrible tonight with some very weak calls but then letting plays with obvious interference and holding go. Really the only time I got nervous was when St.Cloud would go on the powerplay. Pretty good game tonight with a good 1st period got a little sloppy in the 2nd and a solid 3rd. Lindgren was fantastic for St.Cloud we could have easily been up at least 4-0 after the 1st period. Zane came up big when called upon as it seems like he always does. Everyone in the lineup tonight played pretty well and brought a lot of energy early. Nick Schmaltz has some amazing hands and seems to be getting better every weekend and when he plays like he did tonight we become even more dangerous. If we are allowed to play a lot of 5-on-5 hockey tomorrow night I feel very good about our chances but with the way the game was called tonight I don't really see that happening so we have to be better on the PK. One other thing I hope we are better in tomorrow is the faceoff circle not sure what the numbers were but seemed like we really struggled in that area.

Duluth East scores on an early goal in the 2nd overtime to win their 7th straight section 7AA Championship. Elk River was in complete control up 3-0 in the 2nd until they took a major penalty and gave up 2 goals during the 5 minute powerplay to let the 'Hounds get back in the game.
-
Bowen gets 2 goals including the game tying goal as EGF punches their ticket to the X with a 4-3 OT win over TRF. Kiersted's Elk River team and Duluth East are tied at 4 and headed to a 2nd OT you can listen to it http://msbnsports.net/ In the 1st OT it sounded like Kiersted barely left the ice.

In Minnesota action EGF beats TRF 4-3 in OT to win Section 8A.

Went to the 8AA Championship at the Little Ralph tonight and really came away impressed with some Bemidji players in the Lumberjacks 2-0 win. (JR) Forward Jack Johnson really caught my eye as he was very impressive along the boards to go with some nice skill and a good skater a couple of scouts were sitting in front of me and they seemed real intrigued by him. (SO) Forward Brady Tatro had a goal and was a kid I knew about going in but really liked his game he seems like a similar player to Tanner Tweten of EGF to me but might be a little better skater. Bemidji had a real solid D group with some very good skaters but I thought (FR) Chase Hartje might have been their best. He is a smaller kid but was a real solid skater that was real good with the puck and always seemed to make the right play and despite his lack of size he used his body well to separate players from the puck.

Bemidji advances to the state tournament for the first time since 1986 beating Moorhead 2-0 tonight in the 8AA Championship. It was a real fun game to watch fast and physical game with some nice skill plays. The atmosphere was pretty good and loud at times at the Little Ralph tonight as well probably about 3/4 or more full.

Not showing up for most of the 1st period really cost the Wild. Can't afford to lose a game like that.

Adrian Peterson wants trade to CowboysSiouxScore replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in Non-collegiate sports No it is supposed to be one of the best RB classes in a number of years. Gordon will be a 1st round pick and Gurley still might be despite his injury there is also good depth to this RB class as well.

Adrian Peterson wants trade to CowboysSiouxScore replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in Non-collegiate sports I could see that almost kinda like last years draft where he wanted Manziel so bad and woulda drafted him if his son didn't physically stop him.

Drake is one of my favorite players on the team this year but I would definitely take Kristo over him. Kristo was very good in his time here and definitely lived up to most peoples expectations.
-
Defensemen right? I like the group the Wild have but there are definitely some others like the Blackhawks and Blues off the top of my head that I would take ahead of them when all are healthy.

I'm not writing him off at all I really like him as a nice puck moving defenseman with good offensive skill. I know he has battled some injuries this year as well.
-
A top line wing, 2nd line wing, and a top 4 defenseman.
