Fighting Sioux 5 Quinnipiac 1 Caggiula, J.Schmaltz, N.Schmaltz, Gaarder, Ausmus

I want it out of Target Center but I don't think the attendance would be real great in Sioux Falls. My guess is on a good year you would maybe get 5,000 there ideally the tournament would be in the X but if that can't happen I wouldn't mind seeing it rotate between a few campus sites.

I believe the injury stuff usually comes from Schlossman not Hajdu and that is part of his job. I don't look at as an excuse and I'm always very interested to see what exactly guys have been playing through.

Yes the casual person will recognize the Big Ten name but the casual person in the Twin Cities probably doesn't even know the B1G has hockey. Hockey people and most importantly recruits in the Twin Cities definitely know the NCHC well.
-
That was my thinking as well especially with a goalie like Gillies who is more than capable of stealing a game.

I got Miami and Denver both being 1 and done. Frozen Four of UND, Minnesota, Mankato, and BC with the Sioux over Mankato for the National Championship.

Michigan State knocks out Virginia #1 and #2 seeds in the East now out. -
I wouldn't think Tech would either St. Cloud might though.

Looking at my guide ESPN News is just showing Sportscenter at the time so if a game runs long you are probably right and they could start the next game on there..
-
Would have been a matchup of former Section 8A goalies if that was the case. I saw a lot of Alex Lyon in high school at Lake of the Woods and I agree he is definitely the type of goalie that could keep Yale in it against BU.

Like the draw we got and that we play the late game. My predictions were pretty close just had Minnesota in South Bend, BC in Manchester, and Harvard in Providence. With the other moves the committee made I don't get why they didn't also swap Minnesota with Harvard.
-
I just hope to see the Caggiula-Schmaltz-Parks combo back together. The other 2 lines could be pretty interchangeable but I'd go with these lines Friday: Caggiula-Schmaltz-Parks OD-Gaarder-Pogo Chyzk-Johnson-St.Clair Pattyn-Simonson-Poolman

Avoid a 1st round matchup between 2 NCHC teams which doesn't have to be done but is likely.

My Predictions: South Bend 1. Mankato vs. 16. RIT 8. Omaha vs. 10. Minnesota Fargo 2. UND vs. 14. Quinnipiac 7. Michigan Tech vs. 12. St. Cloud Manchester 3. Boston U vs. 13. Yale 6. Duluth vs. 11. Boston College Providence 4. Miami vs. 15. Providence 5. Denver vs. 9. Harvard

Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF 37s38 seconds ago Barber out for celebration, being carried by teammates, no weight on left leg. May have been costly for Miami could be without Barber and Coleman next week.
-
I saw it thought it was a dumb player and was fine with the 5 but would have been fine if they called it a 2 also.
-
Not surprised with the 3 misconducts just based on the way he ran around against us.
-
Is Miami the 4th #1 no matter what the pairwise predictor won't load for me anymore? If that is the case and they keep Providence in Providence my guess is Mankato would then probably stay in South Bend so that they would still face RIT while Miami would go to Providence to face Providence.
-
The question will be how many attendance purpose moves they will make like will they keep Providence in Providence?
-
Refs have been very questionable both ways in that game. They let guys cross check each other for a period and a half in front of the net and then decide to call one random cross check later. There is no consistency at all from the refs in that game.

I only had radio so I really don't know how he played today was more just going off of what I've seen of him earlier this year and the fact he hadn't played in a long time.

Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF 1m1 minute ago Reading between the lines, UND will likely get Colten St. Clair back next weekend. Found the replacement for Murphy.
-
Agreed and I do believe they will win Wilcox will be the difference.
-
Only listened to TH today so can't say much about the performance. Not gonna read a whole lot into today anyway with the little motivation there was and I'm sure the team won't spend much time dwelling on this weekend either. Would expect a few lines to be adjusted and would guess either Olson or St. Clair if he gets healthy enough to play will be in for Murphy. Time for the team to regroup, refocus and have great week of practice heading into the win or go home scenario in what should be a great atmosphere. One weekend doesn't change the whole season and I still fully expect this team to get to the Frozen Four.
