  1. If not for the off the field issues, I believe most involved drugs, with Green Beckham he would definitely be the top WR and I wouldn't mind at all if the Vikes took him in the 2nd round. I think they have bigger needs than DE and I'm not real high on Beasley or Gregory but if Mizzou DE Shane Ray dropped to #11 I wouldn't mind him. I can't see Cooper getting to #11 but would love it if he did. Not a huge fan of Scherff especially after watching him closely against the Gophers and that was a game he really struggled in. I really like the LSU OL La'el Collins to fill the LG spot and I think you could probably trade down and still get him.
  2. I like Duke Johnson from Miami and David Cobb from Minnesota in the 3rd/4th range I've seen Cobb tweet for the Vikings to just let it happen so I guess he wants to stay in MN. I wouldn't be surprised to see them taking an RB no matter what in the draft but depending on what happens with AP will play a big role into when they take an RB. If AP isn't gonna play in MN they will probably take one in the top 3 rounds while even if he does end up coming back and playing in MN I could see them taking a RB in the 6th/7th range if they want to replace Asiata who I believe is in the last year of his deal. I'm interested to see what the Vikes will do in round 1. They still could use upgrades at a number of spots. I really wouldn't mind if they trade down this year and pick up a few more picks but if they stay at #11 some players I like who could/should be available are CB-Trae Waynes, S-Landon Collins, and WR-Devante Parker.
  3. If we get Zane back for another year he is a proven commodity and gonna be playing the majority of games and if that meant Tomek decided to go elsewhere so be it. I think the ideal situation would be for Zane to come back for his senior season and Tomek play a year in the USHL but like you said I don't know if that is something Tomek would go for.
  4. If we are guessing percentages on the chance guys sign I'd go Zane 65% but that goes up if we win the national championship, Jordan at 75%, Nick at 25%, LaDue at 50%, Stecher at 25%, and Caggiula at 25%.
  5. I think Jordan is easily the most likely to sign and even though Zane is the most pro ready player I don't think it is a sure thing he signs. We will see on Zane it will be a hard decision for him just because he loves UND so much I think whether we win the National Championship or not will play a big role in his decision.
  6. Over The Boards ‏@OTBPuckWatch 12m12 minutes ago 99 F Grant Mismash (SSM Prep) commits to North Dakota. Our #5 uncommitted, massive get. Elite 6'0 forward with all the tools to succeed. Over The Boards ‏@OTBPuckWatch 10m10 minutes ago New #UND recruit Grant Mismash had 31-31-62 in 52 games. 3rd on team scoring at Nationals this week. Won Nat'l championship with the U14s. Over The Boards ‏@OTBPuckWatch 8m8 minutes ago That's a huge add for UND. Red Deer (WHL), who drafted Mismash last year, will host the Memorial Cup in 2016, before his draft year in 2017.
  7. Very good news Mismash is a big time get!
  8. Just posted this in the season thread because I must have missed it in here. Definitely a good story but maybe my favorite part is when he says he has always viewed himself as a four year player.
  9. Article on Caggiula as well as BU's goalie O'Connor from Bob McKenzie http://www.tsn.ca/a-tale-of-two-ncaa-prospects-1.243662

  11. I thought it was a terrible call he was hit in the head because he was looking down. I just think it is pretty weak to reward a guy for having his head down.
  12. I was too and I hate Denver. The Laleggia call was terrible refs need to quit rewarding guys for skating with their heads down. Pretty weak that Providence snuck into the tournament and then the committee does them the favor of keeping them close to home but it wasn't surprising at all. Providence definitely having some breaks go their way right now with staying close to home, Miami without a couple key players, and then the major call on Laleggia.
  13. Guessing just fans? He has a sister but she is older than him.
  14. Believe ESPN showed us as the late game on the graphic at the end of the game.
  15. Really thought we looked a little timid and afraid to make a mistake almost for the first 10 minutes or so but that great shift from the St. Clair line with a hard physical forecheck got us our 1st goal and I thought really changed the way we played the rest of the game. Great effort up and down the lineup. The backcheck and ability to get in lanes and block shots was very good. Lindgren was real solid for St. Cloud tonight despite the one weird goal. He came up huge on Chyzk all alone, Caggiula after a great pass from Jordan, and OD a couple times but especially after the great feed on the PP from Nick. Zane was solid and really came up big on some unexpected chances that St. Cloud generated on scramble situations or because of a turnover. I said it last night and I noticed it tonight again there are some guys playing the best they've played all year but two I noticed the most are Poolman and Johnson. A little time for the guys to heal up some and get rid of this flu bring on BU!
  16. Tough for me to see how they overturn what they called on the ice on that one. Supposed to have clear conclusive evidence and definitely didn't look they had it there.
  17. Over The Boards ‏@OTBPuckWatch 1m1 minute ago Tbirds beat Wisconsin in a shootout, Max Gerlach (#UND) goal.
  18. No message Nick just isn't a penalty killer.
  19. Wild beat the Flames tonight now only 1 point behind Chicago for 3rd in the central although they have played 1 more game than the Hawks.
  20. Pretty good play from everyone tonight with a few lapses but overall a solid effort. Really thought Poolman and Johnson stood out tonight up front playing well, our defensemen did a good job of keeping Quinnipiac to the outside and tying up sticks, and Zane was very solid in net as usual. Reffing was very questionable tonight especially in the 1st period lots of hooking and holding that Quinnipiac got away with and not sure how the refs missed the Quinnipiac d-man tackle Poganski after he chipped it by them. Liked the confidence of Zane going for the goal with the open net even though one of our defenseman could have took the puck and think he would have had it if not for the high stick.
  21. Lucia better take a timeout.
  22. Wow BU came very close to winning it at the buzzer.
  23. Big time save by the Lake of the Woods kid on Eichel.
  24. Bad turnover there by BU nice job by Yale of taking advantage of it.
