Soft play and blown coverage give Duluth their first goal and an atrocious turnover and out of control goalie give them the game winner. Had some great chances but couldn't convert both Blake and Albrecht had 2 great looks each and they missed. DeRidder made some solid saves but the game winner is part of why I can't stand him. He his always flopping/diving around out of control and has no idea where he is in the net, if he is in control and stays positionally sound that puck hits him easily on the game winner. The other part is he has absolutely no idea where the puck is going when it hits him, without a doubt among the worst rebound control I've ever seen from a college goaltender. This program is in a real bad place right now and I feel really needs a change in leadership. It is the same stuff over and over again which means either the coaches aren't recognizing the problems or they aren't getting their message through to the players and whichever of the two it is its a major problem. I had Minnesota/Michigan on one of my other TVs and found myself drawn to that game much more. The level of play looked like JV/Varsity between the two games.

Thought we were much better in the dzone, more focus on not just being near guys but being in them and their sticks. Pretty good job of limiting grade A chances. Goaltending was what it has been for much of the year. Some horrendous rebounds and kinda all over the place outta control but did enough to get a win. Created some really dominant stretches offensively but you’d still like to cash in on a few more opportunities.

I loved Arraez. I understand the Twins thinking though that they are selling high on him and could be coming off a career year. Lopez seems like a solid pitcher but don't think he is the true ace they need.

Chicago will be better ton of cap room+some high draft picks and imagine they'll trade one for even more picks. Detroit should be the favorite to win the division. Vikings don't have to go full reset but they're gonna have to tweak things especially defensively and a big part of that will be the big name guys either renegotiating their deals or being cut. Hunter, Smith, and Kendricks especially they just don't produce what they are paid. Vikings have to get faster defensively, their front 7 had to be the slowest in the NFL.

It was easy to see early in the season this Vikings team wasn't a true contender with the defense and Donatell. It was severely flawed in a few areas but really didn't try to alter things in season and let the wins cover up the deficiencies. 13 wins and a NFC North Championship is absolutely a overachievement when looking at this team for me. I did think they could sneak by the Giants but it was ending in San Francisco next week barring a series of miracles. This loss isn't really surprising and really doesn't even hurt that much. Gotta imagine a ton of changes both in personnel and staff. Some long tenured guys that we could've seen the last of in a Viking jersey today unless they redo their contracts Hunter, Kendricks, H. Smith, Peterson, Thielen, Cook. Man that schedule next year Chargers, Chiefs, Niners, @ Eagles, @ Bengals.

This just isn't a very good hockey team and it starts with not having a capable D1 goalie on the roster. Scored enough to win but dzone is a problem and you won't win many college hockey games when your goaltender allows a weak goal let alone 3. Berry is now gonna have the program at a point of missing 3 of the last 5 NCAA Tournaments which just isn't remotely close to good enough. It is time to make the move.

Thought James had a tough night so not surprised to see him out tonight but thought Matteo did some good things so not a fan of yanking him out of the lineup again. Johnson getting the start to night feels like the desperation move of nothing else has worked so lets give it a try. Almost like you are hoping he can lead a miracle run to the NCAA Tournament and it would be a great story but to me it is more a indictment on where this program is at in the moment and it isn't a good place.

He has had a good game here or there but he has been largely bad in his opportunities as well. Looks a lot like the guy I watched at Michigan State, was hoping a better team in front of him would make a difference but not really.

I don't care how they got him back I'd rather have Correa than not and a 6 year deal for 200 isn't bad at all. Looking at the roster I have to think more is coming. The logical guy I see moving is Kepler. Maybe you build a package with him and one of the young starters like Ober or Winder and a prospect to target a top of the rotation pitcher. C-Vazquez 1B-Kirilloff 2B-Polanco SS-Correa 3B-Miranda LF-Gallo CF-Buxton RF-Kepler DH-Arraez Bench/On the way- C-Jeffers, OF-Larnach, Wallner, Gordon, Celestino, Garlick, IF-Farmer, Lewis, Julien, Lee, Martin SP-Gray, Maeda, Ryan, Mahle, Ober Other options-Varland, Winder, Paddack, Woods-Richardson, Balazovic, Prielipp RP-Duran, Lopez, Jax, Alcala, Thielbar, Moran, Sands, Henriquez, Canterino, Megill, Pagan(yuck)

Probably the last thing he does as a head coach.

Trade down a few spots for a good haul and probably take one of the top defensive players or if you trade to more 10-15 range get the top WR. Fields needs a lot of help and should get it with the amount of cap space Chicago has as well.

Survived a dangerous weekend with nothing to gain and everything to lose. Honestly not much that good that I take from this weekend. Strinden is really playing well and solidifying a role going forward. Would also like to Costantini stick in the lineup seems like he has been in and out every other game.

Hughes may be the most overrated hockey player I've ever seen. A defenseman that is always the worst player on the ice defensively as soon as he touches the ice.

Could tell the way today was gonna go when they didn’t get a TD off the punt block and then immediately gave up a return TD. No way 49ers lose to Cardinals so Vikes will be the 3 and get Giants might as well rest guys at Chicago next week. I’d much rather face the Giants than Lions or Packers. Would’ve been fine getting Seahawks too. Don’t think it matters much where it is if Vikes have to face 49ers I don’t like the chances.

True although he hadn't really ran at all coming into the game yesterday which was something that frustrated Ohio State fans. The first pass went right off that WRs hands and almost got picked, guy has to catch that.

Their success came through the air all night or with Stroud scrambling. I hated the 1st down run because it is easy for Georgia to see coming. Ohio State had been using their h-back as the RB on the final drive for blocking and brought in their RB for that play, they were also down to their 3rd RB. I was looking for the slip screen that they have success with. The three huge plays/moments in that game for me were Ohio State TE just moving forward for a illegal shift when they picked up the 4th and 1 from their own 35ish and having to punt instead, Smart being granted the timeout to negate the Ohio State fake punt, and Harrison getting knocked out of the game in the 3rd quarter.
