  1. I'll be praying for you, my friend. Please keep us posted. Jeremiah 33:3
  2. Agree. He's only had two recruiting classes that are solely his own and both classes seem to be above average (won't know for sure for another year or two). If he gets 3 more years, his first recruiting class will then be seniors (those that redshirted their freshman year) and his work will stand on it's own, one way or the other. I agree with some of the posts that discipline needs to be improved with respect to uniforms being tucked in, etc., etc., etc.
  3. Nope; couldn't get the TV to work, so am sitting, waiting for the updates. Didn't like that one, though.
  4. For some reason, this link is not working for me. Do you have the web address? Thanks.
  5. Need 3 tickets for Fri.night; please call 816-853-5038 or email sscherbenske@hotmail.com.
  6. Coming from Kansas City with 2 friends for Fri. night game and Sat. football game. Need 3 for Fri. night vs. Duluth.
  7. Plan on coming up from Kansas City with two friends for the football game and Fri. night hockey game. Speaking of which, we need 3 tickets for the Fri. night hockey game.
  8. I may have missed something, but how do we know that we have a full 2011 football schedule? And who are the four opponents not listed on the schedule?
  9. Thanks much! Hope we can still play the Bison regularly in all the major sports and as many of the others as possible!
  10. How have the Sioux scored? How do they look, overall?
  11. Are Murray and Brenneman playing? Thanks.
  12. I believe what you're missing is the second half of the sentence: ". . . for two years from now when you'll be playoff eligible."
  13. Right on. While we're at it, the Coyotes lost to Southern Utah yesterday by more than we did and have lost 3 in a row, so fire Meierkort!! Fire the OC!! Panic, panic! Fire the DC!! Fire the quarterback!! Panic, panic!! Fire the equpment manager!! Actually, good job, Sioux, against a top-notch team yesterday, even though your defense has been decimated by injuries and you've got an extremely young team. You showed great character the way you came back after being badly outplayed the first quarter and a half. Shows that the coaching staff made some good adjustments as the game went on. You're right on track for two years from now when you'll be playoff eligible. Looking forward to seeing you in person against UC Davis. Go, SIOUX!!
  14. Great effort by an injury-riddled Sioux team against a highly-ranked team on their home field. The Sioux could have mailed it in after going down 13 - 0 and being badly outplayed but instead didn't give up, kept their poise and nearly pulled off a nice upset. Nice comeback; the one second half fumble really hurt our momentum. Gallant effort by the D; hopefully, the team will be encouraged overall and will put together a couple of complete games on the upcoming homestand. Hope to be there for the UC Davis game. Go SIOUX!!
  15. What's Cal Poly's field position and down situation? Thanks.
  16. Am praying for this precious little guy; please keep us updated.

    SUU @ UND

One thing that gives us a little reason for hope defensively is that, after giving up 289 yds. total offense in the first half last week, we only gave up about 120 yds. the second half. Perhaps some of that can be chalked up to S. D. being more conservative in the second half, but, nonetheless, it does show that we made some adjustments and improved in the second half. Hopefully, the improvement continues this week.
  18. Looks like they have a bit of a mixup on the hockey game this Sat.; they have us playing @ Alaska-Fairbanks rather than Alaska-Anchorage.
  19. Thank you so much; just what I was looking for!
  20. Just upgraded our cable to include, among other things, Fox College Sports so that we can get the Sioux games that are televised. Could someone please reference an earlier post that displayed the Sioux games (all sports) to be televised this season. Thanks much.
  21. I think there's a general consensus that his first two recruiting classes were excellent and, given two more good recruiting seasons, he'll be in position to improve on his first two seasons which were both 6-5, more than a reasonable accomplishment for a new FCS program (using virtually all recruits from his predecessor). Chances are, we may not reach 6-5 this year, but I'd expect next year to be an excellent springboard for our first year of playoff eligibility (2012).
