  1. I have just one comment. If Bartels initially is the starting QB over Mollberg that tells me Bartels is real good. I agree that they will both be playing to start with and both had better be ready. Mollberg might be starting before long. This just shows you the strength we might have at the QB position. I can't wait for the season to start.
  2. Those comments made by Taylor are a little disturbing. Particularly when you look at the timing of when they were made. It is quite evident to see why they seem to have an ongoing problem with behavior by their athletes. Way to many situations are handled with the attitude of doing nothing. The athletes just aren't afraid of any repercussions.

    2013 Recruiting

Nothing would surprise me their. I always had an uneasy feeling with the commitment. Hopefully he is still in the fold.
  4. Typically when do the schedules for next year come out?
  5. Risky

    2013 season

Is this the first we had heard about these two? Had we already heard about them?
  6. Not perfect but for the most part I love the new turf. More contrast which I like. The end zones are fantastic.
  7. Is this story a hoax.. If it isn't, it must be written by a grade school kid. It certainly can't be written by a mature adult. He should be very proud of himself. There has to be more to this story for him to have that amount of bitterness against North Dakota.
  8. So it looks like our two starting guards the year after next would be The Pioneer Press player of the year in Minnesota in 2011 and Mr. Basketball 2013 in Minnesota. It should be fun.
  9. During the time period when things weren't going so good there were many games where tickets were sold for 5 dollars at Stop n Go. On the radio in Fargo they were giving away tickets by handfull. I still remember the radio guys saying you can have as many as you want. It wasn't limited to 2.
  10. This just seems like kind of a non- story. Mistakes were definitely made on both sides. The more you talk about it seems like it is bigger than it is. It is sort of old news as far I am concerned. The bottom line to me is that I respect Jones for passionately standing up for his team. Ralston made a mistake but I don't think he should of been suspended. Suspending him made the story larger than it needed to be.
  11. I would rather be in a larger conference with a smaller piece of the pie than be in a conference where their might not be any pie to split up. The decsision to join the Big Sky looks like a genius decision right now.
  12. On the USD forum a Coyote backer is saying that USD blew it. He said they should of went to the Big Sky when they had the chance. The Summit is definitely in trouble. The Big Sky is definitely looking pretty good about now.
  13. Bison fans are way over estimating how strong the Summit is. The way they are losing key strong members every year the strength of the Summit is fading fast. If they could use all the former members in basing the strength of the Summit it would be pretty good. I don't think they can do that though. Isn't that called living in the past.
  14. UND would have zero interest in joining the Summit. The MVFC would be fine for football but UND would want nothing to do with the Summit. If Oakland leaves I can't imagine any quality school having any interest in joining the Summit with what is going on there.
  15. There is one real positive and refreshing aspect to all this conference situation stuff. No matter what happens to the other 3 Dakota schools. No matter whether the 3 schools end up in the Summit, MVC or Horizon (or the Great West). UND is in a destination conference. A very stable conference. What a happy relief.
  16. I think there is a misconception being spread by fans to the South that UND is unhappy being in the Big Sky and that UND wishes they were in the Summit. UND chose the Big Sky over the Summit. UND is really THRILLED to be in the Big Sky. .I am sure the fact theat UND is in the Big Sky is really bugging Bison fans now that the Summit is falling apart.
  17. Doesn't look like you are going to get anything for Oakland. What did you get for Oral Roberts? Was that Omaha? I wouldn't count on Denver being there long. The IU' whatevers won't be in the Summit long either. You will probably end up with the 3 Dakota's and Omaha . Impressive. Good luck.
  18. The way teams are apparently fleeing the Summit , let's see if the Bison fans are bragging about the strength of the Summit in the coming years. . It beginning to look like the Summit might not even be in existence in the not to distant future. The Summit's RPI will be taking some major hits in the future.
  19. Good post. Putting hatred aside it really is very true.
  20. The Big Sky conference looks so sweet right now. I am so glad we decided to not go to the Summit.
  21. This whole conversation is meaningless. Who cares is right.
  22. Some posters are definitely boring and repetitive.
  23. Akron got beat by almost 50 yesterday too. Didn't Akron just beat the Bison by 20 a week or so ago. On any given night if the right things happen any game can get out of hand. It was going to be a tall order for Montana to stay with Syracuse anyway.
  24. Saul Phillips said there was no chance for NDSU to get in the MVC. He said the MVC was looking for a school that is in a bigger market than Fargo. So for now NDSU is stuck in the Summit.
  25. I see there was over 7000 in attendance at the Montana game last night. It looked like it was a great atmosphere. We were so close to being there. Hopefully next year.
