Isn't it great to be in the Big Sky. Everyone in the Summit is wondering what is going to happen next. The Big Sky is stable and has enough teams built in to cover a situation if a team left. What a great move it was for UND to be accepted into the Big Sky. Whatever happens in then Summit or MVC doesn't really matter.

Big Sky schools should never schedule anything in any sport with NDSU after Gene Taylor's idiotic remarks. Talk about an AD that seems to be stressed out and out of control. In the future before he says anything he should stop and think for a second. He has made some very poor verbal decisions in the last few months.

That was last summer. His Colorado State blunders and this round of screwups came since last summer. His chances for future awards might be slipping away.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Montana buy out the future game with NDSU too. Montana probably wouildn't appreciate GT remarks grouping all the Big Sky with Monatana State.

GT probably doesn't need to blame the whole Big Sky for what Montana State did. Has NDSU ever bought out a game before? I would assume not.

It is hard to believe that Douple wasn't all over UND to try to get them into the Summit for baseball when you look at how unstable the baseball situation is in the Summit.

Judging by the Forum article, once again Douple and UND seem to remember situations differently. Interesting.

Apparently Oakland is as good as gone from the Summit for next year too. It is getting interesting.

USD might be really kicking themselves. They had a chance to get in the Big Sky. I would imagine the Big Sky is not going to do anything to help USD out after they left the Big Sky at the alter.

The most likely scenerio is NDSU will try to get in the Big Sky. Would the Big Sky turn them down again?

Did UND put out the schedule of radio spots Muss was going to do to talk about the team? UND mentioned it yesterday that they would let everyone know.

If he did switch to Northern Illinois it would be a former UND coach getting him to drop his committment to UND. Obviously recruiting is a cutthroat business.

How many freshman did we have that reshirted last year? Of that group how many are expected to make a significant impact next year? Which players would be considered to be the stars of that class?

To simplify it.. If the team of players it involved would have had to sit out a game or 2 it could very easily cost NDSU a victory or 2. And in FCS the number of victories does matter. Do you understand it now?

You are accurate that this is not FBS and there is no points for margin of victory. Although in some pollsters minds it helps if you win handily. But more importantly it very important to NDSU to win by a large amount or more importantly to just win. It had always been that way.
