  1. I don't think Nick will join them this year. I think he was added to protect him for future years.
  2. Let's be real here. Danny's not the only one who shot it right into the body this weekend. And it's not fair to single him out. I could name about five other players that were doing the same damn thing. So that goes for everyone.
  3. He has a concussion. Day to day.
  4. He has to shoot the puck. He's a goal scorer. And I'm sorry, but it doesn't appear we have a lot of those. Keep shooting Danny! Preferably, not when a defender is right in front of you...
  5. That's what I think will happen as well.
  6. I'm gonna go with no.
  7. I feel like this discussion should not be railing on the character of an individual, and should stick to hockey. Might be seen as libel/slander. Just saying.
  8. We don't assign roles to players before they come to campus here at North Dakota. You have to earn playing time here. No one ever said Dell was going to be on the bench. He came in to push Eids for playing time and low and behold, he has. I realize it's a somewhat foreign concept down in Gopherland. (in my opinion)
  9. I don't think his sibling situation is what will make him a Gopher. I mean, he did go to Ann Arbor and all. It's the fact that he's been bred a Gopher fan since birth probably that will make him a Gopher. Same challenges of recruiting any kid in the Twin Cities. Gopher brainwash. It's tough.
  10. Don't even tell me to stop being a fan. That is just rude. My apologies for stating a FACT.
  11. And which team averages more penalty minutes? I'll give you a hint. It's not the Sioux. Try again.
  12. Colorado College has like a 35 percent acceptance rate. It is a tough academic school. Meaning the average gps of incoming freshmen is a 3.7. That is what he meant by Colten not being dumb.
  13. It happened. Just because you didn't hear one sioux player saying it happened doesn't mean it didn't. I didn't see it happen either, like EVERYONE has said, it happened AWAY from the play. Unless it was right in front of you, more than likely you were watching the freaking puck. I know it happened because I heard it straight from the horse's mouth. I have a hard time believing a person would lie about being speared. If you don't believe us, you can go over to GPL and talk with those morons. They'll agree with you.
  14. Not actually. That was 08-09. You guys were #3 when you came to Grand Forks to play us, we swept you and exposed the weaknesses, then you swept SCSU after that and collapsed after that, lost to UMD at the Final Five and missed the NCAA tournament. You were ranked Number 1 that year in November I believe for a week. Point being is you were not #1 that whole season, actually you hardly were ranked #1 at all. You guys had a good start and then fell apart during the stretch run. The two teams that were number one that whole season were Boston University and Notre Dame. BU won the natty.
  15. I'M A TOOLBAG? Ha. That's funny. I didn't realize one can be a toolbag for repeating what's been said. It's called sarcasm bud.
  16. This statement is ironic as it sounds to me like you're the one on the high horse. In fact, you sound like a Gopher fan that told me to get off welfare because I can't get a better cable package.
  17. I'll take a sweep so we can shut their tool-bag fans up. Considering we're cellar dwellers and a "bye week" for the Gophers and all....
  18. I'd chime in more here, but I don't feel the need to defend a situation that is pretty common knowledge, to a Rodent fan. When have Rodent fans ever believed anything we said anyways?
  19. Yes you do. You're a Gopher fan, so quit pretending your not. On a side note, most of Anchorage's fans don't sit by the ice at the games. I have friends who went to the series up there a few years ago and I asked my friend about that and she said she observed that as well, so it may just LOOK like no ones there on TV. No clue why they want to be so far from the action though. But they have never gotten good attendance.
  20. Paul Kelly (College Hockey Inc) had a radio interview with a radio station in Toronto, I believe, about this situation, and he said he would be SHOCKED if Schmaltz breaks his commitment. I guess he knows the Schmaltz family really well. He also said anyone who says North Dakota doesn't produce NHL talent is full of crap. (paraphrasing). He spouted off all the statistics that Hajdu did on twitter before the radio guy cut him off. Yes, Paul, the Windsor Spitfires are full of crap.
  21. That was one of his more mild celebrations. Seen much, much worse from him. I don't have a problem with the kid - nice kid. I just think he over celebrates his goals. Keep it up and he will get killed if you ask me.
  22. I still think it's too early to tell with Nick, because he's a 1996 born and the 93s were just drafted this summer. I know he did really well at the Select Camps. But we'll know more about his draft stock once he hits his draft year.
  23. He does over-celebrate a bit, doesn't he? After he scores a goal in the same spot as all his other goals... I liked when he got that penalty for embellishment against Duluth. I laughed. Okay, I'm done being mean now.
  24. I agree. There are just some people that just won't get behind women's hockey. I'm not one of them, but they are out there.
  25. Considering Stanford is up 48-21, I think Luck made it to the game.
