  1. Well guys... I went to the store today so I'm prepared for this game. Now I hope the boys are ready to play as well.
  2. Need to score on one of these PP's. and that's an understatement.
  3. My thoughts... for the love of pete we need another d-man recruit for next year. If anything to make it more competitive in practice for those final lineup spots.
  4. It's not that I feel Duluth isn't good. Talented team, no doubt. I just don't feel they are AS GOOD as they are hyped up to be by certain media outlets. In regards to Yale and us losing to them last year, no question we took them lightly. Frattin even admitted it on the radio after the game on Saturday. Anything can happen in a one and done tournament, but after taking the last 2 opponents in the NCAA's lightly, I don't think we will lose due to taking an opponent lightly this year.
  5. On the Gophers? Well, Jay Barriball is a 5th year senior so he was on the Gophers team that we beat in OT in Denver to go to the Frozen Four when it was in St Louis. Wasn't that Gophers team ranked number one a lot of that season? The rest of the seniors had a winning season the following year, but they sneaked into the NCAAs that year with a good performance at the Final Five, and I don't know if that necessarily qualifies as a good season. Perhaps, but not by Gopher standards. I'd say Barriball is the only guy on the Gopher team that knows winning.
  6. he took a shot after the whistle up high from stephen johns from notre dame, but he seemed to be fine after that. Weird his injury occurred the week following that game.
  7. it's been said in a few places that everything is all fine and dandy with yale hockey and that the player in question is eligible to play. investigation done.
  8. That was terrible. I'm pretty sure my neighbors in my apt complex could hear me yelling at the tv. I will never understand this goal review crap. I too have given up on understanding.
  9. Disagree that our schedule is soft this half. I think that's selling a lot of the teams we play short. It's not the consecutive ranked opponents stretch like earlier, but it's far from soft.
  10. OMG yes. Listening to him during the WJC's made me think ... "gee.. should anyone else show up in the NCAAs when we should just give yale the title now?" I got sick of it too.
  11. Bishop left in the middle of the season I believe. I believe it was during a time we were really injured and during the world juniors, where we had a couple guys playing so it made things difficult.
  12. I would get there right as doors open. I know when I was a student I always was one of the first 10 people in the line to get into the game and I only once got into the front row of the upper bowl due to line budgers, saving seats, etc. So I would get there when the doors open if you want in the lower rows of the upper deck. I got general admission tickets to the UNO game as well, and I know we're going to go a little before doors open to get in line and see what we can get.
  13. the question was about mid-season though... the last one I believe would be Anthony Grieco. Though... the reasons he left are up for debate, but we don't need to go into that.
  14. It's unfortunate my old computer went to hell. The calendar would have looked nice. haha. I actually have a mac now since that was the spare computer in my family, so the dimensions won't work as well. But all is good, because I still got good ol Corban on my background representing for the month of January. Looks nice.
  15. his brother goes to Boston College.
  16. If he didn't de-commit when he was pushed back to the USHL this year, I highly doubt he's going to de-commit now. Plus, he probably knows with our lack of D recruits his playing time next year is looking pretty good.
  17. Man, I wish I wasn't sick so I could go watch.
  18. I, personally, wouldn't want my health issues out there in the public eye to be scrutinized by everyone...
  19. They are brothers. And FYI... St. Thomas is not actually a city. He just attends St Thomas Academy. The Schroeders live in Prior Lake.
  20. I shop at Franchise Sports all the time. Mostly at the Eden Prairie location. It's nice. They have a lot of Sioux and other college apparel, as well as your typical pro sports apparel and things, and don't just limit it to Minnesota sports like a lot of other stores, though a majority of it is Minnesota sports. I know in the Twin Cities, aside from The College Shop at the Mall of America, it's the best bet for Sioux stuff.
  21. I'm having a heart attack. Clearly, I'm being dramatic. This would happen the day i get my jersey in the mail.
  22. I think that's beginning to be a given lol.
