I'll concur on this the USCHO is a great place to look for tickets. I got Frozen Four tickets for the Denver Frozen on USCHO, and I actually placed a Wanted add for tickets and got mine for this year's Frozen on there as well. So I've had good luck on there. So for those looking for tickets, definitely check it out. Some people won't try to rip you off. This does not include the guy that emailed me offering tickets in his suite for 800 a piece Buddy if you happen to be reading this: I got four tickets for under the $800 per ticket price you offered me. Nice try. Oh, as a P.S. one of my friends decided to be a d-bag (again) and pretty much bailed on the Frozen this year so I have an extra ticket if anyone is wanting to go. If so, feel free to PM me.

Well, I heard on KFAN that the Panthers aren't pleased with his development because at times they didn't like that he wasn't used in his natural position, the center position and they put him on the wing for a while. But... I think he was back at center towards the end? Maybe a Gopher fan can verify this. THere was a prospect article apparently where they commented on this. I think that's why they aren't happy with his development at the U. But I think he'll stick around because he has the opportunity to play an increased role next year for the Gophers at center and I'm sure the Panthers would like to see how he does with more responsibilities. Again, I don't watch the Gophers enough to know how much playing time and responsiblities he had.

They were talking about something along these lines on the radio last night too. More so about the "Defensive Player of the Year" award and how they should change it to the "Defensive Player with the most points" Award.

I hope Matt wins the Hobey so I can shut the gopher fans up that keep tweeting me about what a horrible person Matt is and how he should be disqualified. I'm starting my own personal Frattin for Hobey twitter campaign just to piss them off. I'm glad my parents taught me not to judge people.

When I watch the state tournament and in some of the class A games, I'm baffled some of these schools are classified as A. When i think of Alexandria, I think of big school. My cousins went to school there, while my high school enrollment was just over 500. So some of the schools like Alex and the like I'm like, "and they are an A school, because...?" But I suppose it's different for all sports. My high school didn't have hockey .... and still doesn't so I didn't follow it much in high school.

Did you miss when they asked about that on TV? And no, they are not related. There was an article about him in the Fargo paper and his coach confirmed that they are not related. His coach seems to think he might not end up in the wcha because he's got like a 3.89 gpa so he could go ivy.

He is indeed having hip surgery. Date for the surgery has already been scheduled. He's been playing hurt all season as he got injured during Elite League. From what I'm hearing... and speculating...is that most schools are hesitant to offer him a scholarship because of the injury. Can't blame them. It's difficult to commit to a player without knowing how he'll respond to the surgery. I believe he's drafted by Green Bay of the USHL, so I'd expect him to be there next year. I'd love tohave him in Sioux green.

Right, Tate Maris is I believe 21? He was credit wise, a sophomore at UND when he was named the team's 3rd goaltender last year.

Kind of along the same lines with the needing the favorites to win, the number of auto bids the NCAA has to give will greatly influence whether the Gophers get in or not. You have the AHA auto bid, the Gophers don't want the NCAA to have to give auto bids to Hockey East or ECAC or etc... because they would have to be higher in the pairwise then to get in, so that goes along with the needing high seeds to win... and teams that are already in the tournament.

I think the only time the league factors in the conference games thing is with the statistical categories like scoring champion and goaltending champing. the all conference teams are more objective because they are voted on by coaches, media, and team captains, so those individuals can look at overall stats as well to formulate an opinion.

No kidding. He even said he voted that way because he has a man crush or whatever on Zucker and decided Mike Connolly was player of the year in December. Call me crazy, but I don't think too many others are going to be voting that way. If Frattin is not the POTY it would be a complete travesty IMO.

And the play of the goalie helps the TEAM W IN. I don't know why you came here besides to argue with those who don't share your opinion. For crying out loud.... I haven't been this annoyed in like...3 hours. Clearly it's Monday.

He's going to come back to play the game in his hometown! In all seriousness, I'd bet good money if I had any that he'd be back. He's not going to leave to go play in the minors, which is where he would be going.

Well don't come on here and tell people what to think. Everyone on here is entitled to their own opinion. Some do feel Patterson is a first team goalie, others feel Dell is. So I wouldn't go around saying we're not objective. Maybe Patterson's league leading save percentage or whatever should have led his team to more wins....this argument can go both ways...

This is a Sioux board. If we think Dell should be first team goalie... we will. You won't be getting a Patterson love fest from me.

I like when those arguments come from fans of teams he has shut out.

Dell gets very little respect around the league... and by that I mean by fans of other teams. I know we have a good d-core ... but someone's got to help prevent the goalie from being hung out to dry.... That said, if Dell is not on at least one of the all-conference teams that is just a shame.

Maybe that will happen...
