  1. I, personally, wouldn't want my health issues out there in the public eye to be scrutinized by everyone...
  2. They are brothers. And FYI... St. Thomas is not actually a city. He just attends St Thomas Academy. The Schroeders live in Prior Lake.
  3. I shop at Franchise Sports all the time. Mostly at the Eden Prairie location. It's nice. They have a lot of Sioux and other college apparel, as well as your typical pro sports apparel and things, and don't just limit it to Minnesota sports like a lot of other stores, though a majority of it is Minnesota sports. I know in the Twin Cities, aside from The College Shop at the Mall of America, it's the best bet for Sioux stuff.
  4. I'm having a heart attack. Clearly, I'm being dramatic. This would happen the day i get my jersey in the mail.
  5. I think that's beginning to be a given lol.
  6. I actually agree with this. I'm surprising myself here. He's a good player. No question. But...He's not coming here... he's CLEARLY a big Gopher fan and already told people he's going to the U. . If Lucia gets canned, he'll go to Notre Dame or something. Bank it. Off topic, but did anyone else see that Q & A video with Nick Bjugstad and they asked him why he decided to play for the Gophers and he said something like "every kid who lives in Minnesota wants to be a Gopher....well, except for Forbort and those guys..." I laughed. We need to find more of "those guys" haha. Anyways, carry on...
  7. He's already narrowed down his choices to UM, UND, and Notre Dame, so I would be legitimately shocked to see him at SCSU.
  8. I can see the argument for both. I voted for Matt personally. With 17 goals, pretty much double the amount of anyone else on our team... his scoring has been critical. Yeah, it is also REALLY important for Dell to come in and play like he has, but without Matt's goals, we wouldn't be winning like we have been. We might have a lot of ties. Like BU. lol. But like I said, I can see the argument for either. Both have been extremely important to the success of our team so far.
  9. Well, at least I'll get to see Rocco play when the U-18s play the Gophers on the 7th. I live too close to not go see that.
  10. *lalalala* time to stop overanalyzing an exhibition game *lalala* They practice 2 days, had finals, and wanted to go home. I don't think I would have cared if they lost. They worked hard all semester with a tough schedule and deserve some time off so it's not fair to compare our win to the Fargo Force win over the same team.
  11. Well, it'll be good for the U.S. team to be able to fill 4 lines since they only were able to have 3 last night. So from their perspective, there's a positive.
  12. Don't disagree with you on that... but... If attendence matters, they'd send us to St Louis or Green Bay if we have a number one seed. That's where my thinking is on that...
  13. All we have to do is get a number one seed and we won't have to go east!
  14. About Nelson: I was kind of surprised he was invited to the camp considering he hasn't exactly lit it up. But he had a real strong summer camp and I think that stuck with the USA hockey evaluators. The popular thought is that they will take either Nelson or Nick Bjugstad since they're similar players in size, etc. Most feel Bjugstad will be the one taken, even though he hasn't exactly lit up college hockey either. It'll be interesting to see the final squad, no matter who makes it. I'm excited for this tournament either way. It's kind of sad thinking it could have been in Grand Forks though.
  15. Agreed. I always thought he'd stay home anyways, but that just kind of cemented it. If I was in his shoes, I'd stay close to home.
  16. I think a better question is why are we taking what's said on BMT as conclusive evidence. just sayin'...
  17. because we don't play the same teams non-conference every year it limits competition if we always played the same teams ... nor do we usually play eastern teams without an agreement in said eastern teams coming to play a series at REA in return. (see Cornell).
  18. Frattin had a goal drought to start the season, then hit his stride in the middle and then went without a goal from the end of January until theplayoffs. that's snakebit. That's where the snakebit thing comes in as far as his sophomore year. Inconsistent is probably a better word.
  19. I think a lot of us agree with you, but it's more like for me personally, once you've heard it once, you've it heard it a million times and in one ear out the other...I don't know why we need to keep repeating it.
  20. Well the dome collapsed, so getting here wouldn't really matter since they can't play there anyways. lol.
  21. BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm speculating i'm not getting to mankato tonight...lovely.
