  1. Aaron Dell gets overlooked period. Just in talking with fans from other teams, apparently he's only having a good season because our d-core is so good. I don't buy that for a second. Sure, having good d-men is a luxury I enjoy having, but they can't do everything. Someone's got to be in the net to stop the puck as well.
  2. You just made no sense. Or are just confused.
  3. I too will go with TRUPPER! ---one of these days he won't let me down. Might as well be tonite!
  4. For sure Comcast. All home games are televised on Comcast on the FCS channels with the sports pack. Not sure on the exact channel. I live in Minneapolis and it's in the 700s. I believe they are not on Dish.
  5. Not to step on any toes....but that was last week.
  6. DU against the Gophers. I'll take a split or 2 ties please. Thanks! (As long as we sweep UAA)
  7. and why is it hard to believe alcohol wasn't involved with you? It wouldn't shock me either way, but you seem adamant that it was and it seems to be your first thought. Most people on here are more prone to jump to conclusions toward the negative side, and I find that unfair. I don't think anyone here has the mentality that we never do wrong and if you honestly believe that, you're being kind of naive. Using the past indescretions as an example, why would any of us say the sioux do no wrong? That's COMPLETELY misguided. Hak said there were no rules broken, and I don't think he would say that if it wasn't true. He hasn't hid from the facts of all the other incidents over the years and I don't see him starting now. The fact of the matter is, the Kristo's requested privacy. UND is respecting those wishes and so should everyone else but apparently everyone else thinks it's their "right" to know, when it's not. Sorry, but there's more important things to worry about.
  8. Now... let's not restrict that to JUST the hockey players. That goes across the student-athlete spectrum. Heck, that's college students in general.
  9. I would + this but I have exceeded my positive quota for the day.
  10. DIdn't mean to make it sound like I was classifying all Gopher fans into the same category. I know that's not fair, or true. Every fan base has their bad seeds.
  11. i noticed it was the same guy making all (most of) the d-bag comments. The definition of class.
  12. I like the live chat because it tells me what's going to happen before I either see it happen or listen to it happen
  13. I cheer for an arena collapse. Or 2 ties. And of those 3, I would prefer BU.
  14. In my opinion, if you're competing at this level, mental preparation should not be an issue. You're not getting a free education to show up for games unprepared. It's kind of like if you are a back up goaltender, you should always warm up like you're going to play because if you're not prepared when you get sent into the game... all you're doing is letting your team down. So in short, always prepare like you're going to be playing.
  15. Well... a reeeeaaaaaalllly long time ago when we had that fog out game at Boston College, an establishment formerly known as "Boston's" had the game on. Of course CBS College Sports was known as CSTV back then. Oh, memories.... I don't live in GF anymore, but I feel as though BWW's would have the game. I'd make a call and find out.
  16. This is the most ridiculous thread EVER. I feel sorry for those who legitimately believe Hakstol should be fired. Yeah, because that makes all the sense in the world...
  17. Do you ever post anything positive? Or is it always negative with you? It seems there is an increase in posters around here when there's something to complain about....and I am wondering if you are one of those people?
  18. this is like maine all over again. 4 for 4 on the powerplay. this is fabulous.
  19. I'd say there is a lack of d-men for next year concern over anticipation of anyone leaving early. I don't see any D leaving early. My google research has quite a few USHL fights popping up on this kid. And I see he's captain of his team, so he's got some leadership abilities. EDIT: Here's an article about him from November: http://wcfcourier.com/sports/article_8f9dfb06-f798-11df-aa6a-001cc4c002e0.html
  20. If any of the D need to get their act together, I'm sorry but I'll say Forbort. Last weekend, if they would have moved Marto back to D, I was in favor of Forbort sitting in the stands on Saturday night. Like him a lot, but he just... I don't know... was not real impressed with his play lately. (that's the nicest way I could put it).
