  1. I'm not sure where you heard that because I have never heard a single thing about that from ANYONE.
  2. You seem to be in the know sir....
  3. And... he loves the Red Pepper! I'm telling you. That place is a vastly underrated recruiting tool.
  4. Mariucci doesn't let you sit though. I have never sat in an actual seat at that arena. Stupid standing room only....
  5. Speaking of Forbort, he has two career goals and both of the goalies he scored on were playing last night In my opinion, if Forbort's overrated, what are the Gopher D-men? I'm sorry, but I think Patterson saved their bacon A LOT this year. I'm interested to see what they do next year without a strong force back there, particularly to start. Also, I thought one of the reasons we had such a rough start to the season was because a lot of the d-men were having rough starts. I thought Forbort was terrible in the beginning, and I thought Mac and Simpson started out pretty rough as well, but got better as the season progressed. Oh, he also says since Brock is gone, we won't be able to score any goals.
  6. I freaking despise that pompous, arrogant, thinks-he-knows-everything-about-everyone d-bag. I also like his name-calling of 16 year old recruits of rival teams. How mature.
  7. Ah. I got them confused with Clarkson and those schools .
  8. I'm pretty sure Union is a scholarship school. I thought only the ivy league schools in the ECAC didn't give scholarships?
  9. The sooner more of us realize that the landscape of college hockey has changed and stop living in the past, the sooner more of us can come to terms with how difficult it is to win the NCAA title. You think it's easy to go to five frozen four's in eight years? It's not. There are what? 58 teams in college hockey and only 4 are playing the final weekend. Parity is a lot greater across the country as a whole because the game has grown so much in the last 10-20 years. And the reality is every good team needs a little bit of luck and things to go their way.
  10. No one said BC didn't have players leave early. But there are some programs that can minimize those losses, and BC is one of them. And usually, it's not a mass exodus. It's one or two every year, maybe. Overall, the top teams in the country the last few years have remained the same. The teams that reload are always a factor.
  11. I wasn't referring the frozen four's though. I was channeling back to October when we put up 2 on BC.
  12. Oh come on! we would have at least scored 2!
  13. Heard that "free agent" loophole is closing most likely, so it might not be an option much longer
  14. I wasn't concerned until I saw he follows that WHL team on twitter. Yeah, I creeped. Go ahead and judge me.
  15. I'm weary about that, as the comment was from a fan of the WHL team that has his rights, but it's a legitimate fear.
  16. Ha. Nice. Like the trap is restricted to a certain team though.
  17. I see one reason for a snooze fest. Can you say TRAP? Ferris, I'm looking at you.
  18. My thoughts: the coaching staff really does know what's up. Getting Saunders to come is huge with Dell leaving. (I admit I'm surprised on that departure). But having a goalie on our roster with collegiate experience is huge.
  19. I feel your pain. Only I live in the suburbs. Living here just makes you hate them even more than you did before
  20. I'm disappointed Nelson is going, but even if Kristo goes, and some other guy goes, I still feel good about next year's core. Defense will be solid once again, and look at all the experience guys like Parks and MacMillan got. They played a lot down the stretch, and in some big games. Add in a couple more healthy bodies and I think next year looks promising. I'm calm. Though I am one of the few people that predicted a 3-peat at the Final Five back in November. I'm probably more glass half-full than half-empty. haha.
  21. Who am I cheering for? ARENA COLLAPSE.
  22. Don't even know why this was even questioned. Weird how rumors start
  23. He was demoted with two others, one of whom is a BC recruit. He isnt high end in the way Schmaltz is high end. He was demoted because the U18s sucked at an international tournament and they are trying to find the solution as to why. Miles will be a good college player, whether he is drafted or not. I don't tend to worry until they get to campus. The coaches know what they are doing. He will be here in the fall unless you really want the WHL to take him away, and I don't, personally.
  24. It's in a different thread
  25. Have you seen him play this year? If not, I'm not sure anyone here is in a position to judge. I heard an opinion about him being "misused" by the NTDP. Keep in mind he doesn't turn 18 until this summer, so he is still pretty young.
