Radke just does nothing for me....yeah he makes a few good checks but look at last year against the Goofs in the regional final....say the Goofs would have scored a couple of goals on that 5 minute major...how would we all feel then?? Yeah Radke plays a physical game but he adds absolutely NOTHING offensively...and takes more than his share of penalties.....he is a candidate to be scratched.

Never like to see that happen to any college hockey player. Stoa was probably destined for a 15-20 goal season IMHO. That being said lets hope none of that happens to any of our players. Injuries are a part of the game and just like that a teams fortunes can change if one of their best players gets injured. The Gophs have a lot of talent and are the one team along with the Sioux that can somewhat replace a guy like that. Although I strongly dislike the Gophers I never wish players to get injured. To me Danny Irmen was the most dispicable Gopher ever.....was real glad when the Wild sent him down to Houston!

Ahh come on.....if the Sioux lose less than 10 games on the season that would be a great season. No team is going to go undefeated in this day and age...too much parity

I couldn't stand to watch that crap FF game from last year again but if you can more power to ya....

This is going to be a hard line up for either of those guys to crack (Forney or Davidson). The only candidate I see to sit right now is Radke. He throws his body around but I just don't think he adds much to the line up when he takes his share of questionable judgement penalties. I am sure Forney has to be really frustrated, but the coaches have to play the players who give the team the best chance to win. You have to earn your ice time and apparently he has not been able to do that which is unfortunate for him.

I am guessing those players will be back next weekend. After the Maroon and Gold...I dislike BC more than any other team in the country with Michigan probably third and Denver fourth!!!

BC on the road will be a tough test. We will have to bring our A game to win. It will be interesting to see how the freshman play in their first road game. Having experienced D-men is a huge boost to start the season. We only have to work in one freshman Marto/LaPoint in the rotation and that is a big bonus. We owe BC some payback and even though it is only regular season we are due to hand them a big fat L!!!

The expectations are high from the get go. I am sure the players and coaches will take a very level headed approach to these polls. Polls are great for the fans but the most meaningless poll of the season IMO is the preseason poll. It should be a great year of Sioux hockey!

yeah you would think they would have re-done the Davidson pic. Not a good one! The boys look like they have been hitting the weight room and are ready to go.

The Sioux will probably be the pre season pick to win the WCHA. I think the league as a whole is a little down this year after the Sioux and Gophers. However that is why they play the games so it should be interesting to see how it pans out. I am looking for this years team to get off to a good start. The youth card will not be used as an excuse this year. We had better get it done this year as we likely will have to deal with at least 4 early departures again next year. I think this team is hungry to be the last team standing in April!

ha ha...yes it does. Witnessing the Gophs go off the ice with their tails between their legs was classic. Irmen and Potulny did not even look up as the Sioux fans near the exit were giving them the jersey pop. That was priceless!!

I am going to go with Kozek for a break out year. I would like to see him get around 15 goals. He needs to score more than he has in the past that is for sure.

Yeah, he sure didn't sound too excited about coming back from the get go. I don't know if he didn't get along with his teammates or what. Toews was ready to move on. Lee has a lot of developing left to do. He struggled with the physical play in college, now times that by 10 in the NHL.

The thought of the DOT line intact next year would be amazing. With another year of strenth training, that line would have a chance to be one of the best ever. I still think it is unlikely he is back.....but there is a chance.

This is great.....Come on Johnny. Imagine the DOT line with another season of experience. Yikes. I am holding out hope on Toews but Oshie is great news.

IMO TJ is much more likely to be back than Toews....I just wish for once we could be surprised by the guys that stay rather than the guys that leave. I must say that Chris Porter has got to be one of my favorite players in Sioux hockey history. If anyone deserved to lift that NC trophy it was Porter
