No doubt JPL will start these two games. He is going to need a break at some point. Has any goalie ever started every game for a complete college season?? I would think being fresh at the most important time of the year could be a concern in goal.

Yeah well he should have done it over the summer not during the season. It leaves the team with their hands tied. But it happens so what can you do, not all that often but it does happen. Even watching him during warm ups, etc he seemed kind of disinterested and not enjoying himself at all. Obviously you can't read too much into the demeanor of a person you do not know. Just an observation though.

Yeah there was no need for it and I am sure he was talked to about it. If you want to be a championship team you need to be more disciplined than that.

Wisco is young but has some good talent. It will be a tough series. The Kohl center is a tough place to play. That being said if we want to be a top notch team we have to make our presence be known this weekend. With a split we are 3-3 in league play. Not a blazing start but not horrible either.

Well we were in trouble before with a full goalie rotation if Phil got injured. Now we are really in trouble. On another note, Phil needs to learn to control his emotions in the crease. That penalty he took on Saturday night by clocking the CC guy in the back after the whistle was needless. I don't recall if CC scored on that or not as the barley pop was pretty tasty at the Ralph but those kind of things usually come back and bite you.

Hard to say how this series will go. Sioux have not done all that well in Madison in the past few years. Wisconsin is a young team and you'd think the Sioux would do well in this series. However, I am predicting a split. It is really hard to sweep any WCHA team on the road.

I think Lee will spend the next 8 years in Binghamton and then get a cup of coffee...similar to Curtis Murphy

Yeah well those are their top two players and combine 2/3rds of their top line....kinda like the Sioux playing without the Osh and Duncan

I have been once (in Milwaukee) two years ago. It was kind of a buzz kill when the Sioux lost in the semifinal but it was still fun. I definitely am going to try and go to Denver this year.

I think Denver will have more than enough hotel capacity to cover this event provided there is nothing else big going on in town. Should be a great site for the frozen four.

I would only go if the Sioux are in it. Therefore it is too early to check airfare, hotels etc for me. If you are going no matter who the teams are then it is not too early.
