I can think of 3 games and in reference to the body of work - I am talking about this season. I want to see how the season goes and I will take a look at it at the end of the year.

    Fire Muss

I still say, wait until the season is over and then review. You need to look at the full body of work. None of us know the full story - plus sometimes you have games that are just bad. You go back to work and make sure it does not happen again. I will review at the end of the season.

    Defense

I don't know what the defensive call was - but Carr was 10 yards from the line of scrimmage when the pass was released. I think Montana attacked the safeties yesterday and won big time.

    Fire Muss

Everyone needs to calm down on this topic and let the season play out. Right now I say Muss stays, he has a rebuilt staff that I like and I like the talent level of the younger player.
  5. Montana taking a knee at the 5 V formation... they could have put up another TD but settled with a 30-6 win - they look good.. Big Sky - Montana St, EWU and Montana all look good - but it is a long season - I love UND being in the Big Sky..
  6. Montana 30 and App 6 Griz rolling..
  7. Montana looks good - the transfer running back Van looks really good and Johnson looks good. The Griz are handling App
  8. Sic - thanks.. I was watching BigSkyTV but switched over to ESPN3 for the Montana game 16-6 midway through the 3rd. It looks like App St is starting to get it going.. Johnson the QB is 13 of 14..
  9. Weber St up over SFA in 4 qtr - don't have the exact score but they said Weber St leading by 19.
  10. Adams is a stud and Montana is up on App 16 - 3 at half

I a little nervous about the o-line.. The Pre-Fall two deep had: RT - Deneui, Windfedt RG - Hoerchner, Meehan C - Walker, Hellman LG - Anderson, Adams LT - Kleason, Barton Hurt, illness or still recovering from injury: Windfedt, Adams and Walker Current Two-Deep: RT - Deneui, Peterson RG - Meehan - ? C - Hoerchner - ? LG - Anderson, Isenberger LT - Kleason, Barton Of the current back ups only Barton was in the two deep rotation at the start of fall camp and season just started.

    TV Coverage

    that is good stuff.
  13. Congrats to the Bison
  14. Dan: I think you are missing the point, your success is based on the fact the you are competing in the Summit League. If your programs moved over the Big Sky only the softball program would have success. The rest would be middle of the pack. Look at the preseason rankings for CC this year: http://www.ustfccca.org/2013/08/featured/division-i-cross-country-preseason-regional-rankings-released Mens: Midwest Region: SDSU (12) and USD (13) Mountain Region: Defending regional champions from 2012 NAU, 2013 preseason rankings: NAU (1), Weber St (9), S. Utah (10), Montana St (13). Womens: Midwest Region: NDSU (6) and USD (15) Mountain Region: Defending regional champions from 2012 Weber St, 2013 preseason rankings: Weber St (3), NAU (4), S. Utah (5), Idaho St. (12). Last years team rankings for mens/womens outdoor track: http://www.ustfccca.org/assets/rankings/div1/2013-otf/NCAAD1_2013_outWk9_TF_NationalRankingsByTeam.pdf Mens: Big Sky: NAU(35), Idaho(75), Sac St (84), SUU(98), Idaho St (99), Weber St (101), Montana St (118), UNC (131) Summit Leage: NDSU (103), USD (131) Womens: Big Sky: Weber St (54), NAU (83), Portland St (111), Idaho (137) Summit League: USD (31), NDSU (96) Golf Rankings: Mens: Big Sky: Idaho (107), Sac St (144), UNC (149), SUU (152), Weber St (199) Summit: Denver (104), NDSU (189), SDSU (195) Womens: Big Sky: Idaho (89), Portland St (99), NAU (103), Sac St (144), Weber St (155), S. Utah (156), Montana (169), UNC (179), Montana St (186) Summit: Denver (35), NDSU (160), IUPUI (169) Softball Rankings: The Summit does have a nice softball conference compared to Big Sky. Big Sky: Portland St (152), Idaho St (184) Summit: NDSU (62), Omaha (71), IPFW (89), USD (145), W. Ill (167) Simply put NDSU would not be winning those trophies in the Big Sky plain and simple - best of luck and thank you for your interest in UND sports.
  15. I thought that the Alerus is about right - hopefully we can get the place rock'n this year. 1) Washington-Grizzly Stadium - The stadium does have an odd configuration seems piece meal. 2) Aggie Stadium - It's new, but looks a bit generic. I do believe that they plan to add on in future - bit too high in the rankings. 3) Walkup Skydome - Nice facility again a bit too high 4) Bobcat Stadium - I think it should be higher up 5) Elizabeth Dee Shaw Stewart Stadium - about right - maybe too high. 6) Jeld-Wen Field - Nice facility should be higher 7) Spanos Stadium - Nice facility should be higher 8) Alerus Center I need to get out to some of these stadiums. Thinking about Bozeman in 14 and Poly in 15
  16. I really enjoyed this site for making picks last year they did a good job. http://www.bigskychallenge.com/index.php?utm_source=newslettter2001&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=welcome
  17. Well, now that fall camp is in progress. I thought that I had better get my act together. So, I have got 10 lbs of ribs with a new dry rub in the frig waiting for a long slow cook tomorrow. Of course I have some beer ready to go also, got to get my game day routine ready to go.
  18. Sumner is very underrated. If the Jacks need to throw that ball - he can do it very well.

    Ticket sells

I just got my season tickets ready to go - section 215
  20. First, I hope for a healthy fall camp UND is thin on D/O Line. I am also looking forward to seeing how keys players return from injuries: O Line Darren Deneui - if he returns healthy they can move Kleason back to the inside. Dustin Adams - if he returns healthy provides depth and competition for starting roll D Line Mike Edwards - if he returns healthy they have three players completing at NG. Garrett Cary - in coming FR - I remember Muss saying that he thought that he might have a chance to play as a true freshman but he is injured so I expect him to RS. Other than that I hope we get a healthy return of the following players - they could have a big impact on the team: R.J. McGill, Garrison Goodman, Seth Stanchik and P. J. Sparks
  21. Portland State just received funding for a new basketball facility. Nice to see Big Sky teams moving forward.. http://www.goviks.com/sports/2013/2/18/development_0218130254.aspx?id=219
  22. I think the new field is very sharp and I hope that UND will be able to use the old turf in the IPF. As I stated last year, Grand Forks and UND are fortunate to have a company like Alerus on board supporting the center. It would have been nice to have a UND logo in the middle of the field but it is not the end of the world and the Alerus is paying a very competitive price for the naming rights. (see previous post from last year) I know that many people have been on Alerus Center for not allowing the UND logo. But, Grand Forks got a nice deal with the Alerus Center naming rights. The new arena in Lincoln, NE just signed Pinnacle Bank's to a $11.25 million, 25-year naming rights deal. I believe that they will be hosting Husker basketball. The Alerus Center deal with Grand Forks is $7.2 million for 20 years. I would like to see the logo, but that is strictly a decision for Alerus Financial. I believe that Alerus Center naming rights runs through 2021. Here is a list of other deals per http://journalstar.c...720f1535aa.html: 1.35 m/y - KFC Yum! Center, Louisville, Ky.: $13.5 million for 10 years 1.25 m/y - Comcast Center, Maryland, $25 million for 20 years 1.00 m/y - Sears Centre, Hoffman Estates, Ill.: $10 million for 10 years 0.93 m/y - CenturyLink Center, Omaha: $14 million for 15 years 0.76 m/y - Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, N.H.: $11.4 million for 15 years 0.56 m/y - Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines, Iowa: $11.5 million for 20 years 0.50 m/y - United Spirit Arena, Texas Tech, $10 million for 20 years 0.50 m/y - Cox Pavilion, UNLV, $6 million for 12 years 0.46 m/y - Colonial Life Arena, South Carolina, $5.5 million for 12 years 0.45 m/y - Pinnacle Bank's, Lincoln, NE, $11.25 million for 25-year 0.36 m/y - Alerus Center, Grand Forks, N.D.: $7.2 million for 20 years 0.35 m/y - Intrust Bank Arena, Wichita, Kan.: $8.75 million for 25 years 0.31 m/y - Werner Park, Omaha, NE, $1.525 million for 5 years 0.30 m/y - Sovereign Center, Reading, Pa.: $9 million for 30 year NOTE: The City of Fargo/Gate City deal is field naming rights for $1m. As part of that agreement, it must have allowed the NDSU logo. I am sure that the deal with Alerus Center included field naming rights and I don't believe that the UND logo has ever been at midfield in the Alerus Center. I believe that they allowed the Sioux name in the end zones and I believe that are allowing North Dakota in the end zones with the new field. But, adding the NDSU logo at midfield is new this year for the Fargo Dome. Naming rights can get very interesting here are a series of articles about the recent Lincoln, NE naming agreement (NOTE: Pinnacle deal does not include Court naming rights): http://journalstar.c...c7550fa3b5.html http://journalstar.c...7eb83e8006.html
  23. It's called coach speak - you need to listen to more postgame interviews.
  24. You do realize that Beck said - let's take it outside and walked outside. He was not defending himself he went outside to fight.. So, this whole Breck tried to walk away does not make sense to me.
  25. Unfortunately, that is how the NDSU faithful roll - I have had worse pm/emails and a hacked account - that fan base in unbelievable.
