I feel very similar today to how I felt after we lost the playoff game to Richmond. I just want to get away from the situation and try to forget it and move on with life. I wonder if it is best not to care about UND football in the first place - it has brought so much disappointment. I know better though - all this disappointment lays the foundation for how much fun and joy it will bring when we finally put it all together. Hopefully this old guy will be around long enough to enjoy it when it happens!!!! Go Hawks!!!

Let me start by saying that I enjoy your input Longtime fan! Trying to understand your statement before I totally agree because I have thought the same things. 1) Agree that I am sickened for the players. Not sure if you are implying that not every player has put "everything" into the game. In the past that was a problem. Is it still a problem that not all the players are putting everything they have into the game and season? I don't know - just asking 2) Agree - but not just the seniors. 3) I think that the talent level is up. Not sure if we still don't have enough talent. Seems like we fall short in many places. Others smarter than I can offer opinions. 4) Agree - the season was wasted by a number of breakdowns and just by not being to execute routine plays. I am down right now and wasn't even going to look at the forum for a while. Here I am again. I hope this makes sense.

I can’t tell which team deserves to win. Neither team has momentum. Neither team has stepped up. Maybe what I am saying is we will find out which team’s coaches step up and devise a winning plan at halftime.

Honestly - we could come up with quite a list of things our offense is missing

Our qb is looking suspect - certainly not looking better each week. Hopefully he can turn it around quickly.

I long for the days when it was fun watching our defense play!

This would be good news. I take it to mean that some newcomers will start over players coming back - hence we will be a better team than we thought.

Enjoy the day and enjoy the game. I hope the players play to the best of their abilities and there are no injuries. I expect a close game.

I don’t know about when tickets are being sold to the general public. What I think I know is there were lots of unsold tickets last I looked.
