  1. I call BS sorry - joined in November - six posts, mostly negative, now all nicey nicey. You must be on break from Moo U and got an Ipad for Christmas. Go back to the video games in your parent's basement.
  2. 850 miles for me - that's actually a fairly close road trip compared to our conference games. I'm gonna pencil this one in.
  3. Remember Bohl also chose the glitz and glammer of Laramie over Fargo - the reality is football is all FU has left and UND just hired the coach whose defense beat them the last time they played.
  4. Except that half of the comments on this subject are from FU trolls whether their nickname reveals that or not, and they are here posting during the weeks before their team plays for a national championship and you can easily find twice as many threads and posts that mention UND on Bison-swille as here.
  5. Have you also lost your way from Bison-swille? What buffalo pie have you been hiding under. What nothing to talk about over there this week? Yes, FU trolls we know you have a great team this year, we know we get the fans, why can't you just be happy about that on your own site instead of daily having to come here and pump your chest. It just continues to perpetuate your immaturity, your inferiority complex and your need to constantly feed your ego. Run, be free, leave the basement and be among your own kind that want to hear it.
  6. I think the media would put a pretty big negative spin on it if the Alerus turned them down. "Alerus refuses access to NDSU football team". It was build with tax payer dollars so it's their job to take any revenue paying gig they can get to make money. Now they just have to worry about the locker rooms being trashed or ripped off. I hope they asked for a big retainer to cover vandalism and theft.
  7. Alert Best Buy, if asked don't sign any petitions, post "Flasher" warnings.
  8. Just a reminder still have Once a Sioux always a Sioux shirts availble on siouxpride.com or at Play it Again Sports, Grand Forks and the Cenex Store on South Washington in Grand Forks. We ship anywhere in the US.
  9. Do we have to go through this all again - of course FU wanted the game to continue they had just gone through a decade of losing just about every game to UND, the Flagship School in the state, FU had more scholarships, had scheduling issues and a transition schedule to fill, while UND was playing for playoffs and needed games that counted - FU had everything to gain. Of course now the shoe is on the other foot but at least the scholarship playing field is equal. The reality is there are just as many people who don't care if they play every year and some don't care if they ever play again (with the current FU AD being #1). It's been shared ad nasium by FU fans that there is no benefit to FU in playing the game - probably right. There is also no benefit to UND to play the game in Fargo. UND had one of the best schedules in FCS last year - it would have been nice to win more of the games but the schedule was great and would not have improved with a road game to FU. And no need for revisionist snide remarks from trolls - yes FU has the better team on paper and would probably beat UND handily right now - but the reality is until the game is played on the field it is a mythical victory (and based on other sports results it's one the FU AG is wanting to leave it at that.).
  10. So was it really unrealistic to expect (and I'm being sarcastic here): a pain-free process that includes firing the current coach and staff, having a national search that brings in top candidates from around the country, losing no ground in recruiting, having daily public press conferences sharing all the details of what was happening, usurping the standard state hiring requirements, preventing any current players from transferring and having it all done in 10 days or less. Is that too much to expect?
  11. Did I miss something? Wasn't it just someone saying that they were concerned that there is no one to keep the current players confident and connected and he was mentioned because of his talent? Just a question that has now become a rumor?
  12. Words of a mature mind... as you are finding out that doesn't sit well here.
  13. Looks like you shouldn't have skipped those remedial english classes. So now the results of what happens on the court don't mean anything - typical. Don't you have something to smack about on Bison-swille? Again so little going on over there the trolls have to cross the bridge and attack the Flagship University of the state of North Dakota - always was, always will be. Sorry.
  14. Come on the worst it could be is 2-20 and didn't it work for the women's soccer team
  15. Who cares what Isso posts - he's paid to be a FU lacky. If Pflugard were chosen comes in and runs a straight up program (with wins) his past becomes ancient history. I agree the new coach won't be chosen by the media or the fans - I'm an old guy and remember that for one example Gino was not the first pick of the media (ie: Grand Forks Herald) but that worked out.
  16. Still the best Division I Mens BB Team in the state. Soon to have the #1 Womens BB Team in the state - proving it on the court. (this in no way reflects that I am happy with the current state of affairs - gotta turn it around and get the team playing like a Big Sky contender before it's too late.)
  17. Based on recent NCAA decisions (host sites) it seems we will never overcome their politics - plus it's obvious they pick and choose what to enforce and who to punish. Punish the guy from Montana, let the SEC coaches do what they want whenever they want. If you win they can't keep you out of the playoffs but they can make the decision on where you will play. I trust Faison will make the choice based on who the best candidate is and that may mean not having ties to UND.
  18. I think I posted this earlier when there was a question about what happened to the mugs at Frency's. Frenchy was at homecoming about 2-3 years ago just sitting in a chair and taking it all in, still had the Frenchy moustache. When somone introduced him to me we reminised for awhile about how a guy could get into Frenchy's no matter how old you were if you were associated with a UND team. He did share that it bothered him that he was never inducted into any UND Hall of Fame - I believe they have a special one for UND boosters. He also told me all the mugs were bought by someone and sold on Ebay.
  19. Just fine UND is home of the best men's basketball team in the state and after this weekend we will be home to the best women's basketball team in the state.
  20. Spin A hypocrite is someone who says one thing and does another - FU trolls say they hate UND and have left UND behind yet they still continue to troll the UND fan board and spend time reading about UND. Even on the cusp of a national championship they are spending time here posting about UND. A narcissist is someone who is in love with their own image - FU trolls are constrantly finding the need to come here and remind us how much better FU is than UND. Posting positive comments about your own school and teams on its own fan site is what fan boards are about. Going to other fan boards and posting about your team is hypocriical and narcsistic. Spin this as narcisism - UND grads make the news as astronauts, doctors, judges and business owners, FU makes the news when the police have been called, its president leaves in disgrace or when the president disses student organizations in his emails. All you got is football and it's obvious that isn't enough to keep your attention even during a national championship run - plus guess what history shows even that won't last forever. Another FU team goes down this weekend - let the excuses begin. You won't find me posting on Bison-swille - not my teams, not my school - I can't even root for them in their playoff run the trolls have poisoned the water too much. (Now in reality do I really believe that my ranting about FU - no, but it is sure fun to be able to post it on a UND Fan site.)
  21. Isn't it ironic the baggage that players can hang on their coaches - I'm would like to assume he didn't have a part in the vandalism but it probably contributed to his firing and it's an albatross he will carry. Same with Pflugrad and his player's actions.
  22. Bail Bondsman on speed dial - check, Donation to Fargo Police Retirement Fund - Check, List of ciches and excuses for media - Check. Yup - appears he's up for the challenge. Gotta be rough when you come in second in every sport but one in the state. Chalk up another one this weekend. We love winning Super Bowls.
  23. And GT has never been known to speak emotionally without having all the facts - just because he says he thinks it justifies emergency hiring doesn't make it so - do you really think those who make that decision in North Dakota would consider a football coach hiring to be an "Emergency" I'm sure in a conservative state, not run by FU rubes, that policy is reserved for true "Emergencies". Plus i doubt he made many friends in the legislature with the way he handled the Petition Scandal. I guess we'll see.
  24. Guess the glammer and glitter of Laramie vs Fargo was too much to pass up. Here is the Wikipedia entry on Laramie. Laramie is a city in and the county seat of Albany County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 30,816 at the 2010 census.[6] Located on the Laramie River in southeastern Wyoming, the city is west of Cheyenne, at the junction of Interstate 80 and U.S. Route 287. Laramie was settled in the mid-19th century along the Union Pacific Railroad line, which crosses the Laramie River at Laramie. It is home to the University of Wyoming, Wyoming Technical Institute, and a branch of Laramie County Community College. Laramie Regional Airport serves Laramie. The ruins of Fort Sanders, an army fort predating Laramie, lie just south of the city along Route 287. Located in the Laramie Valley between the Snowy Range and the Laramie Range, the city draws outdoor enthusiasts because of its abundance of outdoor activities. In 2011, Laramie was named as one of the best cities in which to retire by Money Magazine due to its scenic location, low taxes and educational opportunities.[7] From 1959 to 1963, The city and its name became associated with homophobic violence following the murder of Matthew Shepard on October 6, 1998. Shepard, a young gay man, was tied to a fence on the outskirts of Laramie, brutally beaten and left to die. The widely reported crime served as the basis of The Laramie Project, a documentary-style theatre tribute to Shepard and journalism-based exploration, followed by an HBO film and ten-year anniversary production looking at the event's aftermath and impact.[8]
  25. When the football alumni made the big push to move UND up to Division I this is the sentence they knew they were giving to all other sports. I'm not down on this team just realize that competing and winning the Big Sky to earn a first round game in the NCAA is about going to be the peak. (yes an upset in the first round is possible, but as history has shown not likedly). Right now Sports Illustrated predicted Weber State out of the Big Sky (at a lower seed than FU out of the Summit).
