What Poindexter doesn't understand is that even the on campus students take online classes. It's how universities can provide more classes to more students without having to add classes or have stadium sized lecture halls.

So what they are saying is Prairie View, St. Francis and whatever next years last minute choice is are at their level. Next we will start hearing that they reason they can't fill their schedule is everyone is afraid to play them. Our schedule is full and fine - the best Division 1 football schedule in the state, leave it alone. It's the media that is stirring this up.

Your ongoing presence here and other non-wanted bison trolls, day in and day out, doesn't support what you are trying to convince us of. You have numerous times stated you hate UND, you have numerous times stated you won't go away no matter what is said about you. Get some friends, get a life, go away (damn that is probably what keeps you here because you obviously have no common sense and this site pretty much takes up all your free time...sad.)

Don't forget the chant about UND at their post game celebration.

Remind us of how tthe UND football player was dealt with - did the AD go public saying "there are a lot of haters out there" "We'll let the legal process play out". Did he ever set foot on the field again as a player? When was the last time there were 10 players on a UND team that had run ins with the law in the same year. Haven't seen any police pulling UND players out of any bleachers ever.

I say let su have two weeks of no football when Carolina backs out - UND has a great schedule, our goal should be to make the playoffs and win the Big Sky. Also I highly doubt the su admnistration is serious about scheduling a game with UND they just need the satisfaction of public outcry and perception that UND needs the game more than they do. There are plenty of states that have more than one University that don't play each other on a regular basis. su has set its standard (it never really changed) "Win at all cost". UND has set its standard - to be the Flagship University of the state. Nope - our schedule is set let the media have their fun, let su bring in a dog and sell it out, but we don't need this game.

Guess you don't know which team I'm rooting for then do you. But I'm willing to bet the Bearkats don't have ten members of their team who have been arrested in the past 6 months.

I agree Manage/Ignore let's me stop reading them but it doesn't stop them from derailing every thread.

Injuries are a part of the game - go back and look at some of your cohorts posts on this site during their daily UND smacking. If this information was posted regarding a UND player during the season I think some of them would say you are starting to post excuses before the game - just in case.

Then with all due respect I think the time has come to start blocking certain posters, they bring nothing of value to a site designed to allow fans of UND to offer thoughts, conjecture and discussion. We don't need bison fact checkers, trolls and flamers - it has become tiresome I know of a couple of UND fans that can no longer tolerate coming here because every discussion gets derailed. If you think I am in the minority why not set up a poll on the subject.

So glad we have so many bison trolls on site to be fact checkers on a UND site for posting opinions and discussion about UND and community topics. That's the curse of being the Flagship University of a state and having fans from another school living in perpetual envy and with inferiority complexes. Their ongoing presence here just continues to support this.

I don't think the reason they bring football recruits to hockey games is to "bait and swtich" - geez let's look for the positives. At this level football is not an Alabama football factory it's about the entire student experience. It's showing prospective recruits how fun it can be to be a student at UND - I'm sure they also have them meet with professors in their major - is it "bait and switch" if some of the classes aren't taught by that professor? At UND it's not just about football - recruits come to UND for the entire student-athlete package. They want a quality education so they don't end up working as a petition gatherer when their playing time is done.

I think there are a fair number of "vintage" alumni reading and posting on this site. I am willing to count myself among them them. I will never write a post demanding a coach be fired for several reasons: - There are professionals on staff at UND with much more experience and insight than I have whose job it it is manage the coaching staffs - Players play, coaches coach - It's a GAME, the player are STUDENT ATHLETES, it's supposed to be fun and enjoyable, it's not life and death, they are at UND to get an education and become productive citizens, the sport they are playing is a small part of that. - When winning becomes the most important result of an athletic department ethics and integrity take a back seat (I don't think I need to name an example). - College sports is a cycle, with few exceptions teams can't always be at the top, maintaining a program that has pride and tradition isn't a cycle. - Posting insults and slander on a public forum about the coaching staff of my Alma Mater/ a school I care about just doesn't seem to make sense. You can post what you want, it's your right, just can't figure out what you are trying to accomplish when supporters go in this direction?

It is so sad that there is just no way you bison trolls can make a point without having to add a comment to puff up your inferiority complex is there? It must be tough to not be able to enjoy what you have without feeling the need to spend time on other fan forums spewing out idiocracys that only perpetuate the fact that no matter how successful su is there are certain fans that will always have the need to compare them to the Flagship University of North Dakota and attempt to put down UND. Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Find a charity and volunteer, write a book (or perhaps read one) but as has been written so many times - mooove on.

Hey - prowling here to straighten out our thoughts, comment on every issue, be "folksy" with us and bring or defend su in every conversation is their job. I'm thinking our little Johnny runs to the computer the minute he gets home to see what wrongs need to be righted.

At the rate teams are bailing on their conference it just keeps getting easier for a team from that conference to make the tournament - and many of their fans welcome that.

Just got my Final Fives - hope the weather is like last year - WOW. Also hope I don't get obnoxious gopher fans sitting in front of me, although last year it was sweet after having to listen to them in the first half of the Sioux-Gopher game.
