Griz try for a 36 yard FG but it is No Good!

Griz returner Henderson takes it 101 yards for a TD to lead off the half.... but not so fast, folks.... it's called back by a Personal Foul on Montana.

ISU score... close in on the Griz to make it 21-13 Griz lead with a minutes to go in the first half.... PAT was no good.

During the PSU-UND game, they hardly cut away and could be heard saying some pretty comical things about UND's football team (based on past years' performances in the Big Sky), until it was certain they were going to lose, and then they couldn't shut up about how "bad" of a loss it was for them. This game-- UNC-PSU-- was better as far as the play-by-play/color coverage went, there was only one or two instances where the mic was left hot.

UM now up on ISU 21-7 in the second quarter.

UNC color guy says "Thank the Lord, Baby Jesus!" as he thinks the station had cut away already. LOL!

UNC wins! They are coming here feeling awfully good about themselves. Did you hear that, #51!

And UNC drives the length of the field to score with 28 seconds to go! WOW!

PSU tried the same play again that Studsrud ran to close out the UND-PSU game last month. Didn't work this time.

UNC is stopped on fourth down. PSU should be able to milk some clock here.

Now UNC driving... nice catch with PI tacked on at the end.

PSU now leads 32-28 with about 5 and change to go in the game.

That's the conventional wisdom. Makes our resume look even better.

Barney took a page out of Bubba's playbook earlier in this game with the naked boot run for a first down. It was the exact play Keaton used to put a cap on our game against PSU.

Griz tie it up with a long run by Nguen. Griz get a break with a fumble call that was overturned to extend the drive. 7-7.

PSU creeping back in this one... 28-25 UNC with 9 minutes to go.

ISU goes up 7-0 quickly on the Griz. ISU is starting a red shirt QB... he looks pretty good. But it's Xavier Finney that is doing the damage.

UNC has a good RB tandem like we do. .. #27 is fast, runs hard and can catch out of the back field.

Lights out in the first quarter and then it came back down to earth the rest of the game. Probably equal to what we saw with Weber State.

I agree. Good points. But they probably don't want to overlook UND either? Should be fun!

Another PSU turnover gives UNC a short field. PSU might have walked into this one with a big head. And maybe UNC will walk into the Alerus next week strutting a bit. I think those are the type of teams we play our best against.

UNC gets a fortuitous bounce and picks up a fumble by the PSU QB and walks it in for a TD. UNC leads PSU .... 28-17 with about 9 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter.

PSU using pop up short kicks to combat UNC's lethal KR specialists. It's been mostly effective. UND has been doing that a lot of late anyway.

PSU closing in on UNC makes it 21-17.... UNC still leads at almost halftime. PSU gets the ball to start second half.
