I think all of you are talking past each other and actually agree more than you disagree. UND wants to win and will compete as hard as they can to win tonight, but they if lose, this one game does not a season make or break. That is the thought that I am interpreting from Hoops. Just trying to keep perspective instead of arguing on the extreme margins. But, hey, this is a message board and any other way would be no fun, right?

I see one of their workhorse running backs who's played in all 10 games so far almost came to UND this past fall. DJ Peluso (7.3 avg per carry, 1 TD and 29 long) had UND on his short list with Poly coming out of JUCO.

Anyone know if Kyle Ruhe finally hung it up after two injury plagued seasons? I see they updated the roster (nice new look) and Ruhe is not listed anymore. He had a lot of of promise.

Kenny Golladay. Palendech. Big Snacks Edwards. Though they left for different reasons, as in coaching change. Golladay is probably the more comparable example.

Doing some roster scanning and I see Shanks is up to 245# up from last years listed weight of 230#. Is that extra 15# significant on a 7-footer? What is a good weight for a 7-foot post so they don't get knocked around too much in lane and can dish out some punishment if need be? Edit: I think Mitch Wilmer at 6'11" was 235 in his senior year for comparison sake.

Still a lot of football to be played. NAU would have to win out to reach 7 DI wins and they end the regular season at SUU. I wouldn't put it passed them to do it, though, the way they're playing.

Griz snatch victory from jaws of defeat after ISU recovers Griz fumble at goal line in OT. ISU lines up for FG to win it and snap goes through holders hands and Griz return muff for a TD and 33-27 win in Pokey. Lucky B@$tard$!
