ahhh. Got it. So it was not the head coaching change. Thanks!
  2. I just might have to start liking The Pack, then. Excuse me, I think I just spit up in my mouth a little.
  3. Just ahead of Joe Schobert.... what a tandem that might have been.

Yeah, go figure..... Don't know what they meant by that.

Interesting. Winfeldt got really ill and eventually left the program, correct?

Speaking of the OL and what could have been, others may have known this but it was news to me -- according to a recent SI article, Joe Haeg was all set to come to UND but the offer was rescinded after the head coaching change. The article did not elaborate on who did the rescinding, if it was a new coaching staff decision or a de-commit on the part of the player. If the pieces all into place....(and anything can happen, I understand): Stockwell, Bell, Aplin?, Taylor, Grady. With Rooney and new-comer Nguon battling Aplin for starting center. Leaving a rotation of: Cox, Miller, Stiner, Blair and maybe Helgren if he impresses. I am also intrigued by this walk-on Devan Hunt that Valpo tried hard to get from us. Seems to have good size already out of H.S., and I think Valpo (understanding that it is Valpo) thought he might make their two deep right away.

During the spring game Studs and Clive had one connection where #7 put the ball up and had it drop where only #1 could snag it inside the 5 yard line near the sideline. I think you can see that play right at the beginning of the Spring game highlight video. Looks like Studs and Clive have been working on that one for a while. A tease of what's to come?
  9. There are serious issues at UND, but others in the system are doing what they've always done (including UND's former chief executive): whistling past the graveyard.
  10. Given the fact that Kelley hails from New Mexico and spent about as much time in such liberal strongholds as Texas and Wyoming (sarc.) as he did in Cali, I think you can get the idea about how much actual thought was out into that analysis.
  11. I thought it was a decent crowd, spanning the length of the west side track and winding around the north side a good ways.
  12. Agreed! Hence the reason I put "finesse" in quotation marks. Our so called finesses guys bring a slug of power with their speed and moves.
  13. Taubs nails one from 35 out to end the day!
  14. Coverage sack.
  15. Graftons Zach Hernandez makes an appearance with a catch.
  16. If Blackwell just had more breakaway speed he could be decent.
  17. Stetson looks like s nice relief receiver for Seible. Simalar abilities with Stetson having more natural gifts.
  18. Needs a Grady Train.
  19. They are certainly a formidable stable of work horses.
  20. Prolly soon.
  21. Dulin shows what he is capable of with deep catch and run.
  22. Nevermann brings the house down with an amazing leap over defenders for a TD during run focused drill
  23. I like UND's potential to wear defenses down with Nevermann, Norberg and Gordon and then counter it with "finesse" guys like Santiago and Oliviera and George's deep.
  24. Gordon again for a nice gain. Power running!
  25. Gordon shows what he can do for about 12 yds
