Official SiouxSports.com Logo Reaction Thread and Poll

He looks sad. Why is he so glum? He still gets to wear the greatest nickname and logo in the history of mankind! -
New center. Transfer from Western New Mexico.

Just my take, and reading between the lines in this UND News story from a couple of years back, it sounds like TTD was an idea that came out of the UND Athletics Department but it was an entrepreneurial student crew of wanna-be videographers and documentarians (who happened to be rabid and passionate UND hockey fans) that took the idea and made it stick. They (Peter Bottini and crew) largely used their own time and equipment to make it happen, as well. Not sure what other compensation they got from the AD other than the opportunity to run the content on UND-controlled and supported platforms, and to get their names out there for job prospects down the road. http://und.edu/features/2014/02/through-these-doors.cfm Now, I am curious, if the AD could find an equally motivated crew of students with the same access to equipment and the same level of video talent and the same level of passion for football as Bottini's guys have/had for hockey, would they be able to develop a season-long program for football that would mimic what was done with TTD?

Out of the mouths of babes. Hey, I grew up a Midget..... And learned to love it. So it's tough for me to be too hard any new nickname and logo. -
Reminds me of one, J. Santiago. Very nice speed and lines up in the slot sometimes. He'd have a chance to play against UW in his hometown if he'd sign with us.

Verbal #3: S Leif Bungum, 6'2”, 190, Dodge Center, Minn. (3-Star)

^^^ that was random.

Is this like one of those Ford vs. Chevy or Coke vs. Pepsi things. You got some with brand allegiance to Nike and you have others with brand allegiance to Adidas, and a llot of that is based on the anecdotal experiences that each one of us had with those products.

I think LA Tech has offered something.
-
True and good call, I was trying to keep it in the context that Dan was using, as in primary school colors.

Verbal #2: QB Brock Boltmann, 6'1“, 190, 4.6, Edina, Minn.Hornet, 2-Star. Other known offer was from Cornell. HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3360892/5721e79790eead5d90edfedc

Verbal #1 for 2015: Grady on July 29 Verbal #1 for 2016: Seacrest on July 24 Verbal #1 for 2017: Noah Larson on July 22 Moving in the right direction, getting recruits earlier and earlier. Though, I do realize the timing of the Elite Camps plays a role on when we get our first verbals.

Verbal #1: Noah Larson, Baraboo, Wis., son of former Sioux FB player Scott Larson. Big 6-2, 230#, rangy 2-star OLB with 4.6 speed. HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/2136875/5721ca3bdfe23b2d68ae0029

Fair enough. Although, I think the "circle jerk" is ok amongst one's own fanbase. That's the nature of fan message boards everywhere. Funny thing, though, that you would limit yourself to recruiting threads on BV and yet you have no issue straying into smack threads on here. Is our smack that much more intellectually stimulating and civil than, say, what one might find over at BV? Again don't get me wrong you are more than welcome here IMHO.
-
Serious questions here, because I finally have time to ask them, and because it appears I have an informed and captive audience: Are there a lot of UND-fan commenters over on Bisonville, disputing anything disparaging about UND? I don't know... I've never been there, and have had little interest to go there as I assume they are about Bison stuff. Do the die-hards over there have to "put up" with a lot of "nuisance" from UND fans?
-
You're late to the party..... That's already been pointed out earlier in the thread.
-
It was feigned surprise. We all know you guys are always watching and on the defensive --- in ways that range from humorous to outright indignation. It's actually quite funny to read the mental gymnastics that you guys spew in attempt to clear up your good name on here. It's almost like you truly believe that there this is a chance in hell that you can change anyone's opinion on here. Keep trying, tho.
-
Orange isn't either, but you'll find it in the school's flame logo. Not unprecedented.
-
Whoa. Calm down. I've got no issue with you hanging out in an NDSU smack thread nor any other for that matter. You're very welcome any time you want as far as I am concerned. Just don't expect wine and roses to be delivered your way, ok? We good?

^^^^^^ The visitor doth protest too much, methinks.
-
I think they're just surprised you're always hanging around. NBD.

I'm sorry. I like ISU's Mike Kramer. He's a quote machine. You never know what he'll say next. On his new starting WR: “He’s pretty. He’s 6-foot-3-plus, about 195 pounds,” Kramer said of Carter. “Long arms and great stride. Outstanding sprinter. Tremendous speed. He just is not a great ball catcher yet.”

Change your verb "think" to "hope" and then you're onto something.
