  1. Probably my favorite one so far this year. Nicely done.
  2. Fun to listen to the coaches. Hopefully your opinion of the best defense in the Big Sky changes after this weekend.
  3. UND- 27 Portland St.- 17

    2015 stats

Need to force more turnovers. Hopefully last week was a start.
  5. 3 volleyball matches this season added to the Fox Sports North television lineup Oct. 1st- MontanaOct. 8th- Weber St.Nov. 12th- Idaho
  6. This is awesome to read.
  7. Buy- hoping for the best with recent changes to the depth chart. I'm also hoping their rush yardage given up defensively is based on the competition they have played and either the score or their opponents offensive philosophy to not try and run the football (Wash. St).
  8. Current weather for Saturday is high of 70 degrees with a 10 mph wind. Should be a nice day for football. I can't wait to see the field the game is being played on. Portland St. has averaged around 4,000 fans per game in past games in Hillsboro.
  9. Hopefully the o-line changes produce some results against a better run defense than we saw last week.
  10. I don't think we will see a day where the state of North Dakota gives money for athletic projects. Something like this would have to be done completely with private donations as I don't even know if raising student fees to cover is in the best interest of UND. When the time comes I would rather spend the private donations elsewhere in the athletic dept. and down the road see if anything can be done with the Alerus.
  11. Recap from last years game vs. Portland St.. I forgot how this one ended with UND making a stop at the 2 yard line as time expired. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=209710339&DB_OEM_ID=13500
  12. This. It would make a huge difference.
  13. 2015 Single Game Averages (Rushing) Portland St. - 241.7 yds./game Opponents- 54 yds./game 2015 Single Game Averages (Passing) Portland St. - 98 yds./game Opponents - 228.3 yds/game
  14. on years with only 11 games there will likely be a couple teams with 7 wins making the playoffs.
  15. Going to be an interesting weekend. On the road vs a ranked opponent. The two top defenses in the league. Two teams that try and run the football and don't appear to throw it much/well. Lots of good story lines. Hoping the game gets the coverage it deserves this week
  16. I'm more concerned about our coverage teams than I am out QB play.
  17. I didn't think they played terrible but two of Davis' TD passes were in a safety who was a 3rd stringer last week and needs to get reps. They also really struggled on communicating who is blitzing and were late on a few snaps. That shod also improve. Offensively, I'm holding judgement until Georges gets back. We need a burner to stretch the field. Smith in the slot may be another wrinkle. Next week will be a chance to get a ranked opponent on the road.
  18. Not surprised with the secondary playing poorly today. The injury to Arnell and Brown leaving left a lot of guys who were 3rd stringers a week ago logging a lot of plays today. Our depth in the secondary as the season goes along will be a concern.
  19. The only thing I know for sure is its written in their contract with the Big Sky Conference.
  20. Unlikely its written into a contract and agreed upon by conference and school officials if its just for show.
  21. UND 27 Davis 9 We finally get a defensive score.
  22. Except for Idaho who wrote in their contract they could leave without an exit fee if UND was no longer in the conference. Their options are limited but UND was one of three schools named specifically by them.
  23. Agreed. To make this season a success UND has to find a way to kick start this offense and get these games starting this weekend. Glad to see there is some experimenting with offensive personnel. Play the best players. Looking forward to seeing how the team responds tomorrow.
  24. Fullerton to speak at the UND luncheon today at noon. If anyone attends could you give a recap on what he says? Maybe the Herald could sit down with him and do a Q&A while he is in town.
  25. Travel costs would decrease, attendance numbers would increase. I asked the question in another thread, is this what Faison was referencing when he made the comment about evaluating the athletic dept. regarding FCOA.
