After reading on how we have struggled to run the football against this team, Studs has to play the best game of his short career today. Defense needs to set up some short fields.
Tough that it happened at practice. Does Correthers move back out from nose guard to his natural position? Are Tank Harris and Greer ready to handle all the snaps at Nose Guard or is Woodsmall ready to start getting more reps?
Buy- hoping for the best with recent changes to the depth chart. I'm also hoping their rush yardage given up defensively is based on the competition they have played and either the score or their opponents offensive philosophy to not try and run the football (Wash. St).
Current weather for Saturday is high of 70 degrees with a 10 mph wind. Should be a nice day for football. I can't wait to see the field the game is being played on. Portland St. has averaged around 4,000 fans per game in past games in Hillsboro.
I don't think we will see a day where the state of North Dakota gives money for athletic projects. Something like this would have to be done completely with private donations as I don't even know if raising student fees to cover is in the best interest of UND. When the time comes I would rather spend the private donations elsewhere in the athletic dept. and down the road see if anything can be done with the Alerus.
Recap from last years game vs. Portland St.. I forgot how this one ended with UND making a stop at the 2 yard line as time expired. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=209710339&DB_OEM_ID=13500
