After watching Montana St on Wednesday night in Fargo, we will match up with them fine. I haven't seen Weber, Idaho or Sac St. but on a neutral court I think the conference tourney is wide open.
-
I think NDSU in the dome is tough to beat. Very tough on opposing offenses. Hard to compare entire conferences.
-
I understand what you meant. I just thought they had a couple games left.
-
Things change a lot for freshmen when they get back after break. They become more part of the team and start competing for playing time. I would urge any freshman to stick it out and give it a chance.
-
I'll disagree. It wasn't close to half full. Weather was a factor there as well but they likely had more students sticking around for tonight.
-
Did you expect more? Students gone, NAIA opponent and crappy weather. Can't say there would have been much more but I attended the NDSU game vs. Montana St. on Wednesday night and theyhad less than that in attendance for a game vs. a D1 opponent.

With some of that staff likely headed to USD I imagine the difficult recruiting for Turner will just be beginning.
-
This is interesting to look at. There is going to be a lot of good players back on these teams next season and likely a lot of FBS transfers. The league will be much improved next season.
-
That's fine. We could be behind Eastern Washington as well with Kupp returning.
-
Find it hard to believe the WR from Century wouldn't be a WR we are after. 6'4" with legit hands and pretty quick don't come around to often. He could be another Stanley type and he started to show value in the redzone and 3rd downs as the season went along.
-
Its hard to tell how quickly he moves until you see his clips as a TE. Pretty quick for 6'5" kid.

Quality losses aren't for everyone.
-
What channels were those games on?
-
Calling a team meeting to lie to the players is a little different. Also, one has to question the reports of him not being honest with his staff. To each their own. I'm sure he will do fine there.
-
He had plenty of quality losses at WIU. I don't know what other questions they need answered. He probably didn't have to say anything to the coaches or the players if he was looking for another job. It would make me very suspicious of his communication going forward if I was a player or coach on his staff.

What happens with current USD associate head coach/offensive coordinator Wes Beschorner? As vince mentioned he was kind of the head coach in waiting and a USD alum. Are the dollars there to try and find room for someone like him on our staff? I am guessing if he doesn't stay at USD, he gets snatched up by a local college. Have heard some good things about him.

Sorry to quote you Oxbow. I just have a hard time typing on my phone sometimes.
-
I don't buy some of the things SiouxVolley throws out there but I really think the Dakota schools (NDSU included) need the NCAA to relax the rules if they ever want to move up for football or need the other G5 schools to come back to them. We are just really isolated up on the conference maps.

Two two good teams. NIU was to one dimensional.
-
Hooker has the talent around him. Needs the coaching to bring it together.
-
The post play was better last night. We have tons of talent in the back court. Need someone to be able to coach it.
-
with all the outrage of 5 MVFC teams being on one side of the bracket I am shocked Richmond showed up. Listening to Kolpack on the McFeely show yesterday NDSU had to play two national championship games, today vs UNI and next week at ISU-R.

what did he do? Being animated doesn't always warrant a technical.
