The team could win every game left on the schedule and if we continue to turn the ball over could lose every game on the schedule. It should make every remaining game interesting. The team needs to get confidence back.
 -
Defense gets the job done this week. Its not time to pack it in yet.
 -
Depends what offense we are going to run and if Joe is 100%. Bartles can't be asked to be an option running the ball. Its not his game.
 -
Weber will be a very confident bunch next week and our egos are likely a little bruised. That was their first win in Missoula in 28 years. Article from their victory at Montana. http://www.weberstatesports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=39328&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=210411815&SPID=3468&DB_OEM_ID=8600 Weber rushed for 253 yards on 61 attempts. I would like to see a yard after catch stat. I didn't have the biggest problem with playing off as I figured they would have a hard time driving the length of the field but they would throw a 5 yard out and we would miss the tackle and give up another ten yards.
 -
I don't think any of our 4 wins were lucky. We outplayed our competition 13 of those 16 quarters. Controlled the games for most of those 13. I need to get word on what Studsrud's injury is but I think we win 2 of those 3 games above. Possibly all 3. We match up better with those teams than a team that runs 3-5 WRs and throws it 60 times a game.
 -
even on that play, he had half a field to himself and ran for a gain of twenty. That's a big run but no threat to take it the distance.
 -
If Studsrud misses any time we need to change the offense in a week. Bartles does not fit into this read option offense. Idaho St had no fear of him tucking and running.
 -
so we are "lucky" the teams we played and beat weren't better than us? Makes zero sense.
 -
a secondary has to be worried about someone that can get behind them. The only person we had today was our running back.
 -
this is your second post like this, tell me which of our 4 wins we were "lucky" on.
 -
actually had them dead to rights and just slightly overshot Iwarri Smith on a great play call. He catches that and we are 1 and 10 at the 30 with minimum of a field goal likely and chance to go up 19. That was a big play.
 -
There was a big stretch the first half when it felt like things were turning in that building. Than halftime came and we laid an egg. Disappointing.
 -
Idaho St. dared us to pass the football and we couldn't. Need to get some receivers that can create seperation. They had no respect of getting beat deep after the first quarter.
 -
do you know where. I missed those where the NCAA said no nickname is ok.
 -
where was it stated that not having a nickname complied?
 -
The NCAA does what they want so no one really knows what they will or won't do. That is about the only thing they have been consistent with. As far as they are concerned right now UND is working towards a new nickname to replace Fighting Sioux. The vote is next week.
 -
To represent them but they don't have the money to pay him??
 -
There are about 20+ pages of this thread that this argument plays out. As of right now, UND is working towards a replacement nickname for "Fighting Sioux".
 -
Tough to predict but I think crowd noise plays a factor in this one. UND - 24 Idaho St. - 14
 -
I'm real nervous about this game. Idaho St. apparently has some talent and just haven't been able to put it together this season. On the other hand, Kramer comes across in his interviews as having no respect for UND.
 -
Some good notes on the most recent commitment from Tom Miller. Thanks Tom. http://millersports.areavoices.com/2015/10/08/und-commit-no-11-still-a-soft-verbal/

I'm not saying it has to be one of those but can we find something and stick with it? I compare football to hockey (I generally try not to), I won't miss a Friday night hockey entrance. I get goosebumps everytime. After game one for football the last few seasons, I make zero effort to get to my seats prior to kickoff. Its boring. And judging by the lines we'll see trying to get up the escalators on Saturday at 1:02, most fans feel the same way.
 -
I don't know how many times UND is going to change the entrance for football. It may seem like a small deal but that is something that can become a tradition and something fans look forward to. These are two extremes but right now its so bland I really don't care if I am in my seat before kickoff and I think most fans and students feel the same. Put the same effort in as other sports. The videos below are two extremes but these are tradition and something fans look forward to. How many fans at these schools are still out tailgating when this is going on? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbvtdXHXaLU

One day at a time. Saturday will be a very tough matchup for our defense. In the past, teams that have thrown quick have had success vs. the 3-4.
