There is so much more information out there now that 5-10 years ago, that a news agency can't be covering everything everywhere at all times. I would think that monitoring the message boards and blogs would be wise way to find information and evaluate peoples opinions, alhouigh anonymous opinions can be somewhat dubious. I know that I have posted some obscure stories that eventually wound up on the Herald's site, but then again I post a lot of "uninteresting things", also.

A couple of years from now will someone be looking back at this years record and saying, "well yeah it was a win, but Houston Baptist had a low RPI"? Not likely. It is going to count as a "W" in the record book and locks the Sioux into the #3 seed in the Great West. What I do find amazing is that for as low as HBU is ranked in the RPI, they have the fifth highest scorer in the country, Gonzalez.

I just went through the remainder of the chat and they agreed with your view. One of the "chatters" took a line from the movie North by Northwest "she really got under your skin, didn't she?" Meaning that that the Big Sky really got under Douple's skin.

A transition quandary

Nice job by the men to close out the home season.

Over the years we have all witnessed confusion between UND and NDSU, usually by media outlets. Remember the Red Baron poster showing NDSU hockey? I thought we could start a thread about all of the errors. After all UND has been through in the past coupld of years with the Summit, did you know that UND was hosting the Summit League Track and Field Indoors? Heading into the second day of action, the Oral Roberts men are currently in third place (five events scored) and the women are in sixth place (six events scored) at the Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by the University of North Dakota.

Lamar Backs Out Of Game At South Dakota

The Sioux did take care of one thing that they hadn't done in some games this year and that is hit free throws. The Sioux were 36 of 46 for 78%. Still work to do, but love the fact that they came away with a win rather than the loss we saw against UVU.

My condolences to the Malm family. Matt was a great person. Although we didn't go to the same schools, we knew each other throught althetics. Matt graduated from Central in 1980.
