NU seeks a few good wing men

I have to agree. The guy who posted on D2 said that SCSU was playing UND on Oct. 15, which would be right in the middle of their conference season. There is no link to support it and no even stepped forward to say, "yeah, I heard the same thing". Looking back at SCSU's schedule the past three years, all of their OOC games are early in the season, not in the middle. I am anxious for the Sioux to start a Big Sky schedule and get some foundation regarding scheduling.

A mixed year, at best

This piece reads like a UND brochure.... Scholarships for USA-assists Lankan students Welcome to UND, Miyuru.

NO. 4 UMD AND NO. 3 NORTH DAKOTA TO CHRISTEN AMSOIL ARENA THURSDAY NIGHT Lets go SIOUX!!!

If a UND alumnus living in the MSP area has limited choices for attending UND games, I would rather they come to GF for games. Plan a nice vacation around the beautiful destinations for a road game.

Hopefully Bin can find a link to the map he referenced. Here are some figures from UND's Big Sky announcement... Number of UND Alumni Within 100 Miles of Big Sky Campuses: Greeley, Colorado: 2,865 (Denver area: 3,301) Sacramento/Davis, California: 1,578 Portland, Oregon: 1,178 (Seattle area: 2,204) Spokane, Washington: 456 Missoula, Montana: 445 Bozeman, Montana: 365 Ogden, Utah: 362 San Luis Obispo, California: 285 Flagstaff, Arizona: 160 Pocatello, Idaho: 144

But they are still there now. Next year the numbers may be completely different for both conferences. The old saying....Past Performance Does Not Guarantee Future Results.

That would be the one.

The current RPI ratings for WBB show.... Big Sky 19 Summit 26 The data for your "new" conferences may will change by the time those changes occur and have little value.

Yeah, there really isn't much to figuring it out. I don't mind being "outted".

During the Super Bowl last year my wife's cousins were videoing while we were watching the game. They posted it on Youtube and it has received about 6000 views. About a week and half ago the NFL contacted them and asked about using part of it for a commercial. We are now part of a new NFL commercial .... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/09000d5d81d25d86/It-s-the-Playoffs-Saints My niece is the girl with the face paint that screams into the camera. I'm shown for about 1/2 a second before that jumping with my youngest on my shoulders. My very brief moment of being famous

Graham's Schuler glad to be back in game

I look forward to seeing what you come up with. A strike against Norse would be that it is not unique. Northern Kentucky is the norse. By the way, check out who else uses a flame in their academic logo.

I like Fighting Norse, but find it a little to easy for someone to morph it into something I wouldn't like....... The Fighting Nurse,........ Nurses with Purses... etc. Warriors of the North or Northern Warriors would be less likely to be bastardized. Edit: For the record, I am not attempting to denigrate the nursing profession or anyone in that profession, male or female. I just know how a certain fan base loves to make fun of UND even though they are "over UND" and supposedly don't care.
-
Warriors of the North would fit in nicely with the Pride of the North marching band.

You don't like anything. Well..... that is besides Sioux.

I saw a doozy recently. I was behind someone who seemed to be poking along. I changed lanes and got around her to see that she had a cigarette in her left hand hanging out the window and the phone in her right hand. She must have been knee driving. This was on a road similar in traffic volume to 32nd Ave.

Trying to put some lipstick on a pig here...... 6 home games is more than the Sioux have had in a while. Cal Poly for Homecoming is a good thing. I would think you would have more attendance for Cal Poly for HC than Montana Western. Is there a problem with 1:00 games? With the Big Sky scheduling structure unknown, i'm sure it is difficult to schedule anyone on a return game at this point. WIth that in mind you are going to have to pay someone to come in, with no promise of a return visit. I'm sure there was some cost analysis in play here. How much would it cost to bring in some better quality opponents vs the expected revenue from that opponent. Does the pig look any better??
