My spring semester of my senior year was built around buck pitchers.
How about 35 centers on Thursday nights??
I watched the Sioux beat the Badgers for the NC in '82 at The Spud.
Dean Martin is still one of my favorites, thanks to my many visits to Whiteys as a kid.
Nice win by the SIoux. Down by in the first half, cut it to 3 at the half and pull out the win. According the piece in the herald, the bench came up big. Still need to work on their free throws. These guys are going to be fun to watch over the next few years.
Starting a game thread that I know I won't be able to finish. I am following the game via Live Chat over at Fightingsioux.com.
Sioux are up 7-1 about 3 1/2 minutes into the game.
I always loved the Riverboat Sandwich. Haven't been there since 2009, but it was nearly empty for dinner the last time I was there.
The old Whitey's was my favorite restaurant. The wink and nod way of getting a table was something I haven't seen since.
Between the Antique and Whitey's i had all of my eating and drinking needs met. Pre-flood EGF was the place to be.
Didn't we already do that here?
In response to Bison Dan's post..... With the recent upgrades to Kraft Field, I don't think baseball is on the chopping block at this time.
"BC Connection" from the late 70's. Was it Kevin Maxwell, Cary Eades and Mark Taylor??
There was also the "Zap Line" with Rick Zaparnuik (sp?) at center.
IF they were able to keep the logo to go along with North Dakota Fighting Spirit to honor the people of Spirit Lake and the stand they took, I could support this.
I see that Brad tweeted that they had 2,182 on the live chat on Saturday. Wow!
Unfortunately I wasn't one of them due to power outage.
I had to catch scores via blackberry.
Split??? You stink Dave.
We get CBS College Sports here, so I get to see the Sioux on TV once again tonight.
I watched BB last night, hockey tonight and BB tomorrow. It's almost like living in GF, but warmer.
