Watching the game on NCHC it looked like a trip to me. After all the debate I'll have to track down a replay tp sanity check myself That being said, this is a complete overreaction to Gardner. It was a very minor penalty that barely had any contact (if any according to some other posters). I don't know what universe you watch the NHL in, but in this reality players would never get suspended for that.

At this rate we will get 9 tonight alone :-D

Good point. I always liked Brad Eidness. He was one of our best goalies and I've heard some argue that he was better than Dell. Regardless he ended up going to law school instead of going pro. On another note, what about Matt Fraction?

I don't know about fan forums but their local media has been putting him on the hot seat since day one. It would seem that missing the playoffs will put a coach in jeopardy regardless as to the circumstances or previous record. So in short, of he makes the playoffs, he will probably be fine. If he regresses from last year, he may be in trouble.

Not sure if this has been shared elsewhere yet, but I found it rather interesting.

I don't see UND adding any sports anytime soon. If they did, they would probably start with recently cut sports.

They don't want to pay for one. Seems like they should have one though.

My Gopher brother came up to Grand Forks for a game once and he was dumbfounded that he had to stand outside in the student line.

Pretty sure that's for all of their sports. Not just hockey.

It's no one person's fault but neither of those goals were amazing. He is capable of better and we will need him to play better this year since we don't have a high goal scoring potential.

I may have paid it but that annual fee is by no means small...radio stream is free though.

A couple of missed passes and poor shots but we controlled most of that period. Unfortunately we slipped up on defense once and paid for it.
