Leadership and integrity. Well I'd like to nominate myself. As a now twice graduate (well, come may) of UND, both of Aerospace I clearly have a tie to the University. I'm a Captain, so I have leadership experience (hopefully my airmen agree it's been good). In the Air Force, we are taught integrity first as a core value. Also, I'm only 30 so I'm not aged! As a bonus, with my tie to UND aerospace and Air Force officer experience, I'm basically President Clifford. Only thing is, I still owe the Air Force 2 years. But that shouldn't be a problem as senior administrators can telework according to President Kennedy.

Well unrelated to coaching changes, but I brought my wife and six year old daughter to GF for the first time and we did a tour of the Ralph. I think my daughter's favorite parts were staring/salivating at the hockey players in their gym and the 2 men's basketball players we saw playing at the Betty.

Yes teams. Not just WIH although they are the only one most people seem to care about.

I think it's sad that this thread basically still exists so people can go off on the twins, Brad or anyone who is even mildly sympathetic to the cut teams. Congrats. You won, if cutting a team can be considered winning.

Yeah. Realistically it's a major flaw in how they they do the bracket.

All Minnesota teams are great at choking. I think it's something in our lake water.

Well those second two games were disappointing. ND had a come back and SCSU blew it again.

I usually cheer for the NCHC or WCHA. Which has historically just meant the NCHC

Idk. I think there is something to be said for the coaching. Players simply haven't developed well. Our special teams play was dreadful, players took dumb penalties, and took dumb shots. All of which, to me, indicate bad coaching strategy. Now sure. They out skated, out pocessed, and some might say out played, the teams that beat us and that indicates good coaching. Overall this team underperformed all year. While it obviously played a huge role, it's unjust to use the Cansius series as the sole reason we didn't make it. We lost or tied several other games to weak teams and blew several 3rd period leads. Correcting any of those could have put us in the tournament as well. That all being said I'd still give Berry another year to see if he can fix his weak spots.

I don't think that's accurate. Nor was I saying that I was happy about this season's results in any sport frankly. Nor was i super happy about any of the contract extensions coaches have recently received. But let's be realistic here. The school is not in a position to buy out a coach 3 years after he won a natty. The school is broke and I've lost count of how many sports and academic programs were cut by Schafer and Kennedy. The best we can do is hope Berry turns things around next year.

This season was rough but we had some good games and most of the games we lost were at least close. Regardless as to who the coach is or the strength of the freshmen class, I will gladly be watching them again next fall, just like I do every fall.

Wow. I'm not sure I've seen a PP that bad since the lady sioux failed to get a shot during a 6 on 3 against the gophers.

It was a dumb dirty penalty at the end of a poorly executed power play. So typical for this season

A lot of focus has been on Cansius but in truth we lost a lot of games we could have won against good teams. We kost a few against bad teams. We barely beat a few others. Hell we barely beat Manitoba. A lot of focus has been on on the forwards, but we've lost a few due to bad defense and/or goaltending. This team started out slow and unlike the Hakstol era, did not do well post January. That all being said the season isn't over. They still can get to the tournament despite the struggles. If we fail to do that I'll give him one more year before I join the mob.
