My point is that if that kid is stopped, we have issues. This o-line is unproven at this point...i just think that the performance of the o-line in combination with #22 sets the tone. But hey, i'm just a fan making a prediction on a board.

...and santiago's performance will probably a reflection on where the o-line is at in their run blocking.

I'll just say that it's Santiago or bust. If SB doesn't have an answer for him, UND takes it by a large sum. If Santiago has a "NDSU" type of game....i'd give the win to SB. When Santiago is stopped, UND folds. That's my prediction. It's kind of harsh, and later in the season it would be a different story, but with what he brings to the table that team's tone for the day will be set by #22. Santiago has a good game ...27-14 Santiago has a bad game ...14-27

Yep . . . I'm a graphic designer by trade I just think that looks pretty nice on the all green hat. Anything remotely similar to that will be alright by me.

I think Coleman was just suggesting reasons to try to get some sort of reaction or actual answer to the question. I'm kinda put off by Zimmer's "i'm the boss and what i say goes" attitude that came across. He seems upset that the fans actually care about what's going on.

Zimmer is the best thing that's happened to the Vikes since Favre . . . but his interview after the game made him sound like an @$$. I mean, we know it's his decisions . . . but that wasn't the question and that's not what people wanted to know. He just shouldn't have done the interview if he wasn't going to answer REAL questions. I'm assuming he didn't want to risk Teddy out there on the field with that Seahawks defense. Would that be so hard for the coach to say?

Last night I watched the UND vs Montana State game from last season. UND really owned the running game . . . and really stopped Montana State's. And I can only see that (outside of missing Rattle) this year should be even better! So pumped for the season to start!!

I prefer the SME to the green bird head-dress logo.

I'd like to see a printed "trucker" hat version, myself. You know, the hats with the white foam front with a mesh back. Maybe we could call them "throw back" hats

Nov 13th . . . Falcons vs Eagles. Will vs Wentz. Every football fan in ND should be tuned in.

He did his job. Solid lead block on a TD and caught a pass for a first down. I read someone saying "he catches like a linebacker" . . . made me laugh.

Seems Will is getting a bit of playing time . . . nice.

Personally, I wish the Vikings still played outside . . . I always thought it was a bit of an advantage. But for UND, I'm certainly glad they play inside. I like to bring the wife and kid (three year old daughter) and being indoors in a more controlled setting makes my day a bit easier. That . . . and GF gets damn cold.

I think an UND / NDSU every four years would be just fine . . . gives a player the opportunity to get in on at least one of those games in his time there (if he plays for four years). That would be an "away game" every eight years. Sound good? Yeah, I like it too.
