Studs will not go down this season . . . i repeat, Studs will not go down!! (i'm clicking my heels together as i repeat this)
-
Coaches see these players every single day . . . i don't question why they are playing certain players over others at this point. As long as they are winning games, they can start whoever they like.
-
ditto . . . the punting game last year was solid! Again, hard to tell what a punter can do when nobody is in his face.
-
Across the board . . . this UND team has a lot of speed. Can't wait for more practice reports . . . "Teeder Tales"
-
funny . . . we replied at the same time. again, thanks for the updates. season can't get here soon enough!!!
-
I'm betting that the qb would have been laying on his back instead of getting most of those long bombs down the field in full-contact situations. I think it's pretty hard to judge much of that in a no-pad practice. no pads + no hit = offense advantage
-
With no pads, the qb's and receivers play little more free and aggressive (knowing they won't be on the wrong end of a big hit) . . . We'll see how it changes when the d-backs and linebackers get to make their presence known a bit more. Great report . . . I appreciate it a ton! (some gratitude from Iowa)

The only thing i see that looks a little funky to me is tbe spacing between tne numbers. They look a little too far apart. other than that, i like the format.

....oubt

love 'em!
-
I'm assuming green helmets, as that's what would match all sets and colors of uniforms. drum-roll please . . . . .
-
The players are all people . . . with lives . . . not just guys with numbers on their helmets. I hope that each and every guy on that team can keep it together. And from what I know of Bubba, those that may have some issues have some good support there if they need / want it.
-
The hawk facing backwards on Santiago's helmet would look to be taunting the guys chasing him from behind
-
agree to disagree, i guess. Now if they take the field with gray pants, green jerseys, and the gray helmet with the interlocking ND on it . . . I'll call that a "throwback UNIFORM" for sure!
-
. . . add identical socks, jersey and helmet and I'd call it a "throw back". Saying the gray is valid because it's in the brand guideline is great. Not arguing that at all. But i guess a throw back uniform must mean something different to me than to everyone else.
-
But it's not a copy of the old 70's uniform . . . it looks nothing like the old 70's uniform. That's what I'm getting at.
-
be nice . . . theguy comes over to the board to chat football, not bird logos
-
Claiming that the gray is "throwback" seems to be a bit of a stretch. Let's be honest . . . other teams are doing gray uniforms and it's the trend, that's why UND has jumped on the gray uniform bandwagon. (not diss'ing it, just calling it)
-
yep . . . still like the green on green look. then again my favorite uniform was the green helmet, green jersey, green pants combination.
-
i really like the green ND on the green helmet. i like the logo on one side and the number on the other. i've hear rumor that that's what it is . . . but waiting to see actual pic
-
i'm not a fan of the hawk head by itself. It ends up with that squared off corner at the base of the black swoosh that makes it just look like it's cropped out or that something is missing. I wonder if SME will provide a "hawk only" option in their full suite of logos.
-
me too

Personally, i'm not a fan of every team in the world going to gray uniforms. The NFL pro-bowl uniforms are a PRIME example of how bad it can get. There for a while every team was going to black uniforms in this same fashion. I get that it's the trend and you're lame if you don't do it . . . i guess. Can't wait to see the helmets though!
-
i've only heard what the helmets look like . . . but until someone "official" posts it, i'm not saying.
-
So what do you think of the new uniforms? If you haven't seen them yet . . . i'll post a pic soon.
