Two losses by a total of five points...and what are teo of the toughest games of the schedule. Tough to swallow, but the season has much more in store. This team will get better as the season moves along.
-
Sorry...i'm holding my three year old and working the phone
-
I liked tje "go for ywo" call. Shows dome guts. Good for them!
-
Very true. Kids can't control their surroundings and their influnces growing up. I found myself cheering for them to show up for class than to win games.
-
Watched it.. They might get degrees, but they will still be working at McDonalds when they are done.
-
Anyone get the feeling that Blackheart doesn't like the new logo?
-
And with ESPN3 you will need your user name and password that was set up thriugh your cable/internet provider. Confirm that you have it and that it works today...fon't wait until game time (jyst a friendly word of advice).

"I heard that they used to have some indian head logo"...that will be said in about ten years by incoming freshmen who will be buying Fighting Hawks backpacks and shirts. That's the truth.
-
So that mock-up there . . . I put that together per someone's request. I actually like the closed up D. I really wish the black tips were on the hawk's feathers, though. I think "bald eagle" the way it currently is.
-
Wow . . . do they still print phone books? I haven't seen a phone book in years. No lie!
-
I enjoy these interviews. Keep its bud!
-
Not a fan of that embroidery job . . . at all. It doesn't read like anything really. Even the hawk's head gets lost in translation a bit. D- grade on that hat.
-
I liked the Sioux logo. i like the F Hawk logo. All is good in my world.
-
So you're saying it's such a great logo that it would even make a garbage truck look good? (Pretty sure you were trying to shoot it down...but it reads kinda the opposite)
-
I stopped listening . . . that constant typing in the audio drives me nuts. Also gives the impression that even the interviewer is on Facebook or email while doing the interview. Just FYI for future interviews.
-
I like it . . . sorry, i know that's probably not the cool thing to say, but i think that's the best use of the logo i've seen so far.
-
Well there goes our deep-ball game. (sarcasm)
-
So . . . I can say that I really don't even think about the logo anymore. The name is "fighting hawks" and the logo looks like a State Bank logo, but all in all it's the same athletes and the same teams. If yelling "Go Hawks" helps to represent my support, then that's what I'll yell. Unappologetically. The new name and logo have enough support to stay for the long term, it seems.

Thinking about it a bit more, Bradford could be a pretty nice fit into the Vikings offense. I wonder how long it will take to get him up to speed on the offense system? And Hill holding court for a few games is not a bad thing. He seems pretty solid this year, too.

Ha...i was just letting people know that the game is there. i really don't care to go back and pick players apart, but maybe rewatch and get a better feel for what worked snd what didnt overall.
-
go back to the streaming site . . . the full game is posted there to watch.
-
I like the unrealistic score quoted I for one was expecting a head-knocker . . . but that was brutal on both sides. Nothing but D all night long!!! Maybe some people on this board had some pipe-dreams for this game, but everyone I talked to had nothing but respect for that SB defense. It's just so hard to watch defense dominated games. It's hard on the nerves.
-
by the way . . . log back into the stream site and there is a replay of the game posted (if you have the stomach for it)

I totally agree...in Clive's case the "necessary yardage" was the goal line. It's easy to step out at the 40 knowing you have the first down, but that's not where Clive or that game was at.
