The population thing was in regardes to why Fargo has more players on the Select team than GF. A bigger city is obviously going to have more players from there on the select team. Hence your point you were trying to make is mute. You want to know another variable besides chemistry? Coaching...another thing both RR and Central (at least with Howard) thrive at. Maybe you can come up with some on your own now and realize talent doesn't win championships, so go ahead and name off those talented players year after year that South gets, but haven't turned into to many championship teams.

What I hate is people talking about all the interceptions Belmore threw/s. But when you look at the plays some of them were not his fault....he hits his man in strike, but the opposing player takes it away. And fumbles.....the bad exchanges aren't necessarily his fault, but yet go against his fumbles count.

Success in the past is an indicator of the future my friend. The majority of those players come out of Fargo because they have a greater population...umm duh. With all those great players you would have thought South would have won more hockey championships than one in how many years. Good thing good players don't make a great team. Chemistry and a bunch of other variables make a great championship team. And as of now the Fargo Schools seem to be lacking. Its HS hockey. They are kids. You could essentially return a core of awesome players and still go nowhere.

Sorta like I did with 'Specifics' comments? Souths record last year 18-8-1. RR 16-8-1. Doesn't seem like South was much better if any. Because after all they did lose to RR when it mattered most. I swear this thread is an exact same repeat of last year. RR and Central will not be nearly as good as the year before blah blah blah...South is the best team. Everyone better watch out for them. Dang, you posted that right as I deleted my post. I was going to reread this thread.

Without major renovations to the place what can you really practice. We already have a wonderful practice facility in Hyslop that currently has same if not more amenties and without paying additional to heat the place. Essentially there is only a 200x85 foot surface. To me that seems limiting. Basketball and volleyball, like I said can practice at the Betty and Hyslop. Run around the concourse for track? There is a track inside Hyslop. If you ask me it makes the most sense to tear it down unless they plan on totally redoing it?

My idea is to educate your kid. Teach your kid that vulgarity and profanity are just words. They mean nothing unless you put a meaning to them. How much worse is "who he he sucks Sh*t" compared to "I hate that Dang cock sucker mother." Are they both profanity?? What is profanity? Is it the seven dirty words you can't say on TV during certain times of day when children might be watching or is "Profanity" simply word usage that its audience considers to be offensive. It is very discretionary. Somesay the "F" word wasn't meant to be offensive and wasn't considered that way until the late 17th century when it meant "to strike" or "to penetrate" (get it ).

I think people are overreacting. Glas hits the ball a little harder, don't block in the back and Dressler scores a TD, have the referee not block a Sioux cornerback and UNO doesn't score that TD and none of us are talking about the poor performance by the Sioux. This team will learn from its mistake and move on. The Sioux will beat USD is the dakotadome. The Sioux will go on the road in the playoffs and be a stronger team. I think UNO is smart when they switch QB's during the game for whatever reasons. I think the Sioux should try that more often. Digger Anderson is Eric Schmidt. He will lead this team far. My prediction it will look like 12,000 people are there but they will announce the attendance at 10,000 Always seems to be full and then the announced attendance is lower than expected.

No! I have an EXTREMELY good memory(hence I find it easy to recall things already said in the past). ALSO, school at UND I don't find challenging, so wait....Yes I guess I do have an above average amount of time compared to your typical college student. Specific: Fine you WIN: Fargo South was the best team last year....AND I guarantee they will also be this year. I want you and FS to have the "best" team. But I want a GF team to win a state "title." One goes in the record book. One does not. I don't want to be on the "best" team. I want to be on a "title" team.

Clearly they had the best team? If you ask me NO they did not. I prefer objective not subjective statements. "Best team" is subjective. Wouldn't it be cool if at the end of the year the top teams in the state came together at one location and fought it out til the end. The one team left standing could be called the "Best" and we could reward them with a "title." I like that idea better than who has the best regular season record (BCS "esque").
