ira, normally I'm with you, but in this case family is fair game. Lowell Schweigert was a member of the UND Intercollegiate Athletics Committee as recently as April 2018 (minutes below), which is during the Bubba Era. I don't know Lowell's present status on that committee as the link of committee members seems dated. Meeting Minutes: https://und.edu/academics/university-senate/_files/docs/university-senate/us-agendas-minutes/2017-2018/agenda.05.03.18.pdf Frankly, Shannon Schweigert's public media work (radio Tailgate Show) makes him a public figure also vocally supportive of the Bubba Era even though he too is family.

Depends upon of which final four you speak.

Not the best of weekends for SCSU given the scurry of the holiday season.

Read the following on Mankato, and college hockey, attendance. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/hockey/4827198-MSU-Mankato-is-winning-the-draw-on-college-hockey-attendance.-But-other-regional-teams-are-not The author doesn't realize their own contradiction: First, "Yay! Yay!" -- Mankato is up 355 per game average so far this season. Then, SCSU and UMD are down. But the author goes on to admit the following: North Dakota has been 2 of the 10 Mankato home games so far. North Dakota is yet to visit SCSU or UMD this season. So let's run Mankato's numbers: So far, 4484 average through 10 games (44840 total). North Dakota games were 4565 and 5038. Take out the North Dakota games and their 8 game average is 4404. Take out the North Dakota games and their pace is 275 more per game. That's solid, but before getting too excited, let the full season play out. That said, the author should've been making the "North Dakota" point: Get North Dakota into your barn more often as the visitor to help attendance. (The author sort of does by pointing out UND is yet to visit UMD or SCSU.)

If you are correct, what you describe is a coach getting more than the sum of the players. I'm all for it.

Congratulations! Well done.

Well heck, the quad-fecta came home for Oakland in Week 16: Jets, Saints, Colts, Raiders all won (in must scenario). Why not the Week 17 Raiders quin-fecta!: Raiders, Colts, Texans, Ravens, (one of Bears, Lions, Chiefs, Patriots).

Will that happen before or after the mag-lev bullet train route from MSP to FAR to GFK to WPG, .... or LAX to Honolulu*. *that last part was for @Oxbow6

Where's Schlossman keeping his list of recuits lately?

Never talk about shutouts or no-hitters. -
Why hasn't that deficiency (not straight marking lines) been deemed a deficiency and the place declared an unsuitable field? Based on what say you? Based on ... My old HS geometry teacher says a rectangle is made of four straight lines (and four 90 degree angles).

Wouldn't Notre Dame have chalice holders?
-
But I will say this: A couple of his "elude" moves are fine for HS; they'll get him hit hard at FCS level.

There are so many Ihrys from Hope I could do it weekly and run out next century!

Whathe ... is that Capt. Jack Sparrow on the lead vocals?

From the #MeToo section of the iPod ...

An Ihry from Hope. What'll they come up with next?

I'm happy to see six offensive linemen in this class. That needs to become a prime focal point. I know we have a lot of young defensive linemen, but just one recruit (a NG) doesn't scream "keeping the pipeline full".

Jack Wright: How in the world did UND end up with this guy? Or is it that he's 6'0" and 180.

The flip of that I've heard from friends and relatives is that Sanford believes they have the skills and specialties and hangs onto a patient too long (when they should've been referred to a specialist at Mayo, Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, et al).
-
Schuster has to have the inside lane having a year's, and live game, experience with Freund's offense.
-
Best part of Altru? Access to Mayo.
-
Having seen first hand how Sanford treats staff and volunteers I won't walk into a Sanford facility. And I hear their staff timing metrics are something else.

Fresno State. No. Wait. Kalen DeBoer just got that job.

This "winter classic" non-sense will go on until bad outdoor ice costs a team a significant player for the rest of a season.
