SiouxperDave Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 It's time to watch the GA Tech - Wake game. Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 OOh, the PAT is missed, UND gets a break! Let's see how the wind is against GVSU! We need something on the board. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Finnerty/Fowler reminds me of Klosterman/Graf Quote
dakotadan Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Just tuned in.. .. Not good. That's an understatement! The NCAA men's soccer national semifinal on ESPN2 is pretty interesting to watch. Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 So is our horrible playing because they're playing outside in the cold?? Or just because GVSU is really good?? Quote
WiSioux Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Season's Over? Let's wait a little bit longer... it is only the 1st quarter after all... and we're about to get the wind on our side Quote
Sioux27 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 If I were a USD fan I would make a separate thread on the D2football site stating that we are killing GV in time of possession and that we are a team of destiny! Quote
proudsioux Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 It's time to watch the GA Tech - Wake game. kentucky-unc too Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 Only 17 yards to get past the 50 for the first time. Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 That's an understatement! The NCAA men's soccer national semifinal on ESPN2 is pretty interesting to watch. Haha, I'm flipping back and forth between that and our game LOL Quote
BigGame Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Stein has said repeatedly that the Sioux are simply missing blocks. That has nothing to do with the wind. And I did mention in another post that the wind is preventing us from stetching the field. The blocking has't looked that bad but on a couple plays UND runners have tried to go around blocks instead of cutting up field and end up getting run down. The sack and fumble the blocking wasn't good but Manke could have taken a step forward and avoided the rush easily and the blockers couldn't do anything about Manke's fumbled snap. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Dude, did our football team stay in North Dakota? Quote
soohockey15 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Will someone wake up Donovan Alexander? Oh wait, he's been terrible all year? Sorry, my bad. Quote
WiSioux Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I thought running would be a solution for going against the win... but dang, that's not working either! We've gotta get this turned around... go back to fundamentals. Short passes, good blocking, keep it simple Quote

True, but to blame what's happened in the game thus far on the wind is pretty silly. Quote
southpaw Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 nice first down pass. there's still plenty of time left in the game. gvsu could have as much trouble in the second as UND did in the first. not to mention our offense is explosive, its still winnable. Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 HOLY HELL WE'RE PAST THE 50!! As bad as this first quarter has been, I still have the good feeling about the outcome of the game. There's still a lot of football left to play. Quote
proudsioux Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 theres always next year. who do we have returning. QB is the big question Quote
Sioux27 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 True, but to blame what's happened in the game thus far on the wind is pretty silly. I think that somehow the friggin NC$$ is behind this blowout. They are also the reason I am 30 lbs overweight! Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 I'm glad we get to kick it with the wind. Small battles will win the war. Quote
