at Minnesota, Oct. 23-24
vs. Michigan State, Oct. 31, in Austin, Texas (U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game)
vs. Lindenwood, Nov. 27-28

Looking at that right now it appears to be a very weak schedule. Could turn out much different but hard to get too excited about it.

Need to go at least 2-1 in those 3 games against UMN and MSU to help our NPI out against the B10

Wish these 3 series were replaced by Wisconsin, Michigan, & Boston College or Boston University.

As much as I hate losing to these teams, these are the kinds of opponents who can make us better and more battle tested come tournament time.

If I still lived in GF I wouldn't walk across the street for BSU, Bentley, or Lindenwood. What a crap bunch of non nchc games.

It'll be interesting to see how Jax handles non-conf games moving forward.  These are all still opponents that Berry had lined up.

Non of these games were scheduled by our current head coach. Speaking of the non conference games, are all non conference games scheduled for the following season (27-28)?

Funny how Rand said UND got in the Friendship Four. The organizers were at the meetings in Florida and asked him who he want to play there and he saw Berry and ask him if he wanted to go. In 30 minutes at the bar that had the team set 🤣

Would love to see some east coast trips like in years past where they’d play a game against say, Northeastern and then the next night at BC/Harvard/BU. I went out to Boston the year UND played at the Conte Forum and then the next night at Matthews Arena. Fun seeing two different opponents back to back.

Was there as well for that trip....but if they do that, I hope they at least get three whole periods out of their opponents unlike at Conte.

Awful home nonconference schedule next season. At least on October 17 you can double dip with FB vs SDSU before hockey.

We went to the Vermont series in fall of 2015. That was a lot of fun. Got to see the leaves turning as well as some kid named Brock Boeser play like he was a senior. I never ate so many flap jacks and French toast as I did when we went to Burlington.

Yikes forgot how terrible this is. At least there’s an excuse to really go all in on getting gophers tickets in Minny next year.

We’ll never know but curious if there were some internal disagreements about some of these schedule deals between Brad and Jax

Along with Boston being an awesome city to visit. Boston area visit every 3/4 years would be really nice to see. There’s plenty of teams to rotate through to make it happen

75% in agreement overall, 100% on Laurila. I thought he should have had twice the minutes of Strathmann, Strat & Weibe were turnover machines when I watched back games & there were breakdowns. Didn't look at the '+/-' numbers because not all bad turnover turned into goals due to Spoons bailouts. We have a boatload of scoring talent in our forward group, we need our D to be really good at playing D first, then think about offense. It was so frustrating to watch Weibe drive the net, with a forward camped in front, shoot wide, get caught below the goal line & then it's his D partner & a forward defending the breakout going the other way.

After watching MacKenzie in WJ's, I think he will be an upgrade from Weibe, regardless of age, could be top 4 coming out of summer camp. Agree that Jubenvile is leaving. Lots of buzz about a few other current players hitting the portal. Hope it just rumors. I'm even more excited for next year's squad. The offense coming in will be upgrades, & this Freshman group made it to the Frozen 4 their first run, that's a ton of experience & battle testing for a very, very talented group. And to confirm some of the other rumors, there are a BOATLOAD of players now reaching out  to play for the Fighting Sioux. As much as the Can Jr.'s world is a dumpster fire, I think Jax & Co. are going to going to have a lot of success recruiting. Talked to the dad of a top MN prospect, his kid said he now wants to go to NoDak so he can play on a line with Zellers or Reschny.

Good that there's golf & fishing to get me through the summer. Go SIOUX!

Mackenzie outside of that 1 really egregious semi final game turnover at the world juniors was I thought Canada’s most dependable D man. Love the poise, compete, and direct nature he plays with.
