Interesting name that’s been brought up. None of our coaches currently follow him.

Just my opinion, but he started every game for Minot State and averaged 8.8 ppg and 5 rpg.  I would bet $ that Erickson could do that at Minot State.  So you essentially are looking at another Erickson. I would pass but of course Jones only averaged 2.8 ppg & 3.3 rpg - and many really like him - which I don't understand.

Anyone know what our total NIL was last year? Wasn’t the rumor that Eli was the highest at 25k?

We had a junior on our local hs girls team get over $50k  two years ago.

As someone who was strongly against the Jones signing, he clearly made the team a lot better with his defensive impact. Sometimes box scores don’t tell the whole story. Would it be great to have a center with his defensive impact and have the ability to give you 14 ppg offensively? Of course! But those guys are hard to get for a reason.
I’ll say I’ve only Yale’s highlights but I would look at him the same way. He’s athletic, you hope he can finish around the rim, he’s shown he might have the ability to hit an open 3, and you hope he can be a plus defender with his athleticism. The box score numbers might not blow you away, but if he plays his role well, he can help a team win games

Well, Randall Herbst is the head coach at Minot State. Randall, as everyone probably knows, was an assistant coach at UND under Sather before becoming the head coach at Minot. He left under good terms. I would assume the lines of communication should be strong and honest. If he fits what Sather wants, Sather should have a decent shot at him.
