Don’t understand why they don’t.  It’s not like these guys aren’t used to overtime when championships are on the line.

I'm guessing it is because of TV and keeping all games on time.  Last thing NBC wants to do is have a Hockey game go to multiple OT's when they have other events to be shown.

If they get that kind of goaltending the last two games I think they bring it home.  The UMass Lowell kid was fantastic.

I'd say period 1 advantage Canada.  For Canada to not get one while USA hasn't gotten their footing is big for USA.  

Make the power play count period 2 and get the lines rolling.
