Liv and Wiebe expected back on their earlier flight.
Engel is listed as questionable though due to an ailment.

The Lakers will still be without seven others and plan to keep defensemen Tyler Nasca and Jaryd Sych up front.

Hopefully I don't regret this, and it usually bothers me when fans don't respect the opponents, but there's still a lot of talent in town and I'm expecting two convincing wins.  

Even with guys missing, the pressure game UND has been playing should be intact, and hard to handle.

Yep, hehe, they could get back, celebrate a dub with the team & catch up & still sleep in their own beds…….but am thinking Zellers will pot another winner instead.

Schloss just tweeted his preview story. They got back to grand forks around 8PM last night. Which is sooner than I would have guessed honestly.

 

They might still be sleeping hahah. Let them rest up until 5PM as far as I'm concerned.

The World Junior quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday, and UND will be monitoring the scores.

If the United States or Canada lose in the quarters, those players could return to Grand Forks for the series finale Saturday. There's also a chance Zirnis could come to Grand Forks for the series finale if Latvia is done.
