Been to 3 games already this season.  Best on-ice product I have seen out of a UND team in probably 5-7 years.  The 10th anniversary of the 2016 title is just a few months away, but clearly, moving on from Coach Berry was in the best interest of the program.  I said what I said.

For spearing, there really should be no leeway. "Facemasking", though, was definitely in need of a rule change with all the light touches being called 5 minute majors last season by eastern refs

Upon Berry being fired and Boisvert, Omac and Perron transferring out I don’t think anyone imagined we’d be 12-4-0 right now. Jax Bryn Simmer and Smaby deserve a ton of credit for what they put together in a short amount of time. I admit I had uncertainty that we may not take a step back short term but I’m not sure anyone can argue it was a good move looking back. I think the coaching staff Jax put together is just as important, if not more so, than the recruits they got.  The way this team plays is prototypical Sioux hockey and they’re setting a foundation for this program that’s really exciting.

Could have called it a spear.

I've seen one spear not get called somehow off a review when the camera was looking right at the infraction.

You go to Saturday game against the Clowns?  I was there with 6 UND alums.  We had great seats in 203.

I was in 103 Saturday with my 6-year old for his first ever road game. He said it was one of his favorite games he’s been to, but seemed confused about the crowd when he said “it kind of feels like a home game”. However, I don’t think he realized how stressful it was at times for his dad haha.

I routinely see someone in a UND jersey at CC home games when they aren’t even playing North Dakota! I saw someone in a Sioux jersey on tv recently while watching a DU game at Magness!
