The OC's play calling was an absolute embarrassment and has massively regressed from the start of the season. He needs to go.

What the hell has happened to our tight ends? Do intermediate routes exist anymore? Do we have any other run plays in the arsenal, or only WR in motion and then up the gut?

This is just the smell test from me, so maybe this isn't actually the case. But yesterday it seemed UND had about five different plays. It was a JV brand of football.

did someone say tight end?  they are there some games...gone the next....why?

84 and 80 should be jerry's safety blanket

After watching Quincy dominate every short yardage situation for the last 3 years.. I’m baffled by UND not implementing a similar set this year.  If we have the QV short yardage plays.. we punch in a touchdown and easily make the 4th and 1.

Also.. FG unit.. woof.. not sure if it was the kicker or the holder but good lord..

should have been a win yesterday.. no question.. d is the real deal

pretty sure simon didn't spin the laces out...laffer i think was asking simon "wf" after the miss

Just some numbers for the Duckie/Bunnies crowd here.

Record through 10 games past 5 season.....

2021  5-5

2022  7-3

2023  6-4

2024  5-5

2025  6-4

So we are about the same as usual

After watching the Midco highlights last night, it seems that every time SS tried to get outside he was stopped and he had more success up the middle. I will stipulate that the highlights are cherry picked.

The decision to go for it on 4th down inside the 2 is changing among coaches. The almost certain FG vs pinning the opponent deep is becoming popular. Stats show pinning the opponent is the better option. Of course it's a situational and in game decision, but if your D is playing well it can be game  changing. With horse crap FG kickers the decision is straight forward. Now play selection by an idiot OC is another issue.

I would have also liked to see us run it down there but a better throw from #11 on third down and we score.

I was watching the kickers during warmups, and about one out of every three was a complete shank. Not sure if that’s on the holder or the kicker—but it looked a lot like my short game on the golf course. Some days, I have no clue where my 9-iron is headed—left, right, or maybe into someone’s drink.

So that's why TEs have been ignored at UND for 20 years?

I would think it’s more of a personnel issue than scheme issue. Tight ends are dangerous to throw to if they aren’t open

Kicking is very much like a golf swing.  I had the shanks in my sr year through fall camp and I was the only kicker on the roster.  Kicked a ton of balls, got my 'swing' back and had a good year but it was iffy for a while.

I wonder if Sam herder will still say NDSU is in a tier of their own?

I wanna see this team do something never done before in the D1 era, make a deep run in the playoffs! If there is a UND team that can do it is this one!

Isn’t he from Wahpeton?

If you overthrow a WR it’s almost always incomplete, if you overthrow a TE it’s trouble

South Dakota defeats the jacks.  Nice win for them.  They really turned their season around

Now its more important UND beats SDSU.
