There is also a West Fargo United on the girls side. 3 West Fargo high schools yet one team. Not sure on their numbers but I would think there would be enough for 2 teams. I could be wrong. I’d love to see enough teams on the girls side to where they could have and East and West regional like the boys

GF has the two best boys teams in the state already, both of whom are in the upper echelon of school organized HS hockey in the country. That’s pretty cool by itself. 
 

and GF has a “United” team in the girls side.

Annual... Why in Gawds name doesn't WDA do the 1st round the same as the EDC.   Teams and fans are cheated out of some great games, and the teams are more tired the next week at state having to win 6 games in 9 days or so.

#4 Mandan robbed of a home rink playoff game vs #5 Century... Instead, Century gets a "home Game"

#3 Jamestown robbed of a home rink playoff game vs #6 BHS... again BHS getting basically a "home Game.

EDC can figure it out.... is the intellectual ability to put this together outlawed west of Cass County?

The biggest thing they always point to is the Jamestown to Williston or vice versa on a Tuesday.  I'm very in favor of the Tuesday opener.  Teams that earn the higher seed should get the opener in their home rink.

EDC format is the way to go.  Travel Tuesday from Williston or Jamestown...still have time to recover by Friday for WDA.

No real surprises at EDC last evening.  Shanley looked pretty good against Sheyenne and have a big test on Friday against Central.  If they lose they are looking at the North-Devils Lake winner in an EDC play in game on Saturday.

All West Fargo loser out on Friday should be fun.

Another reason why Jamestown moving to the EDC would make sense. Furthest east teams in the WDA would be Minot and Bismarck.

PSP is carrying the entire WDA tournament, but there is a small fee of $35, which covers every game.
